    Abstract: A seat back envelope of heavy duty fabric overlies a seat back in a snug manner and has webbing segments thereon which extend below the seat back for anchoring to a seat frame or vehicle floor. Additional webbing on the envelope is equipped with various closures enabling the webbing to transfer passenger exerted loads to the seat structure. A garment is provided which includes fittings attachable to envelope attached fittings. A restraint vest is also disclosed in combination with a seat back envelope.
