  • Patent number: 10935683
Abstract: A system, method, and a computer program configured to perform a method for processing drilling data. The method includes transmitting a signal with a telemetry tool to a computer processor. The method includes applying a plurality of predetermined templates to the signal. The method also includes applying a plurality of first filters to the transmitted signal. The method also includes applying one or more second, adjustable filters to the transmitted signal and to the plurality of predetermined templates. The method also includes decoding the transmitted signal based on the best match between a) two or more of the plurality of predetermined templates, and b) the transmitted signal, wherein the two or more of the plurality of predetermined templates and the transmitted signal are processed through the same adjustable filter of the one or more second, adjustable filters.

  • Patent number: 5587928
Abstract: A computer teleconferencing method and apparatus are provided which permits transmission of video image sources including both computer display images and other video images. The apparatus may include at a local teleconferencing site a personal computer having a video graphics adapter, a monitor and a digital telephone interface. The digital telephone interface is used to establish communications with a remote teleconferencing site. The apparatus may further include a video camera and a video capture system connected into the personal computer. The method may include steps of capturing snapshots of a computer display image, converting those snapshots to a digital television form, and compressing and transmitting the digital television signal to the remote teleconferencing site.

  • Patent number: 5237402
Abstract: Improved digital image processing circuitry for sharpening edges and details of a recorded image digitally while minimizing the amplification of noise in the input recorded image provides an output recorded image which is the sum of chrominance signals processed by color processing circuitry and luminance signals processed by color processing circuitry and sharpness circuitry. Input recorded images are provided for concurrent parallel processing by both the color processing circuitry and the sharpening circuitry in a manner whereby the color processing circuitry generates low spatial frequency luminance signals and the sharpness circuitry generates high spatial frequency luminance signals both of which are subsequently combined to provide an output signal in which the amplitude of the high spatial frequency noise component associated therewith is minimized.
