  • Patent number: 5199709
Abstract: An apparatus and method of selecting a set of integers from a larger, predetermined sequence of integers, whereby a multiplicity of dice equal in number to the number of integers in said predetermined sequence of integers is provided, with each die having a plurality of exterior faces with an integer of the predetermined sequence on only one face of each die. Moreover, at least a portion of the integer bearing face has one of a predetermined set of colors, such that each color is associated with a subset of integers from the predetermined sequence of integers, such that each subset is generated by reviewing the number of times each integer was chosen in a previous years lottery with those integers appearing most often having a first color, those integers appearing next most often having a second color, until finally the integer appearing least often is assigned a last color. The color appearing on the face of the die being the color associated with the subset of which the facing integer is a member.
