  • Publication number: 20070254825
Abstract: Self-warming cleaning products, such as wet wipes, include a cleaning solution containing a nonionic surfactant having a cloud point from about 10° C. below to about 2° C. above the maximum temperature of the cleaning product during normal use. By incorporating such nonionic surfactants into the cleaning solution, the effectiveness of the cleaning solution can be enhanced.

  • Publication number: 20070134045
Abstract: The invention described herein provides an applicator for applying a substance, the applicator including an application side and an opposed reactive side, the application side including an application substance and the reactive side including a reaction substance, wherein the application and reaction substances react with each other when the application and reactive sides of the applicator are sequentially wiped on a target surface. Also provided is a method for treating a target surface, the method including contacting the target surface with an application side of an applicator including an application substance, whereby the application substance is deposited onto the target surface; and thereafter contacting the target surface with a reactive side of the applicator including a reaction substance, whereby the reaction substance reacts with the application substance.

  • Publication number: 20060217820
Abstract: A system, apparatus and method collects data on rolled product usage at a dispensing location by monitoring the amount of product pulled or removed from a roll. A spindle assembly may be configured to support a product roll. The spindle assembly includes a rotating member disposed about a sensor. The sensor is capable of detecting one or more parameters of product usage from the roll. Furthermore, the sensor may be configured to measure at least the degree of movement of the rotating member during removal of product from the roll. A recording device also may be provided for receiving data from the sensor, the recording device being adapted for receiving and recording data. Data that may be generated, and may be recorded, includes roll product usage data. An electronically controlled system of monitoring product inventory, and/or ordering more product when inventory falls below a predetermined threshold amount is also included.

  • Publication number: 20060068199
Abstract: In one example form, the present invention relates to a decal for treating a surface. The decal includes a web and an agent for treating the surface. The agent is attached to the web. The decal further includes a bonding material that attaches the decal to the surface. The bonding material is also attached to the web. In some embodiments, the agent may be attached to the web while in other embodiments the agent may form part of the web. In addition, the agent may be at least partially, or wholly, soluble in the web, or may be suspended in the web. In another form, the present invention relates to a method of treating a surface. The method includes attaching a decal to the surface and treating the surface with the decal. Attaching a decal to the surface may include adhering the decal to the surface with an adhesive.
