Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel utility scaffold device. The device is a multifunctional scaffolding featuring a set of detachable steps and a slide locking gate. The utility scaffold device comprises a base component which is a workspace that is approximately six feet in length and three feet wide. Further, a horizontal bar positioned around the base component is secured by four vertical bars, to provide a handrail for the user. Additionally, four vertical legs are secured on the underside of the base component with a large wheel at each end for facilitating movement over any type of terrain. The base component also comprises a locking gate that provides entrance to the base component and a set of detachable stairs in front of the gate to allow a user to easily enter and exit the device.

The coating composition includes a resin system that includes a multi-stage latex. In some embodiments, the multi-stage latex is formed using a process that includes emulsion polymerizing two or more stages in the presence of an aqueous dispersion including a water-dispersible polymer. In certain preferred embodiments, the water-dispersible polymer is a polyether polymer.

The coating composition includes a multi-stage polymeric latex having two or more emulsion polymerized stages in an aqueous carrier liquid, wherein the latex has one or both of: (i) a lower glass transition temperature (Tg) emulsion polymerized stage having a calculated Tg that is at least 20° C. lower than a calculated Tg of a higher Tg emulsion polymerized stage, or (ii) a gradient Tg with at least a 20° C. differential in the calculated Tg of monomers fed at the start of polymerization compared to monomers fed at the end of polymerization. When spray-applied on the interior of a food or beverage can, the composition exhibits a global extraction result of less than 50 ppm and a metal exposure value of less than 3 mA.

Abstract: Provided is a tissue staining composition containing carbon particles having a mean particle diameter less than 0.3 ?m in diameter (optionally less than 0.2 ?m in diameter) together with one or more agents that maintain the carbon particles in suspension (for example, an anti-settling agent and/or surfactant). In certain circumstances, the anti-settling agent may also have mucoadhesive properties. The tissue staining composition is visually dark and does not disperse rapidly when introduced into regions of tissue of interest making it ideal for marking the regions that can be visualized clearly and over prolonged periods of time via, for example, direct visualization, endoscopic or laparoscopic inspection. The invention also provides methods of making and using the tissue staining composition for marking regions of tissue of interest, for example, gastrointestinal tissue, as well as other tissues.

Abstract: Provided herein are recombinant modified vaccinia Ankara (rMVA) viral vectors comprising heterologous nucleic acid inserts encoding one or more SARS-CoV2 proteins, peptides, or fragments thereof, operably linked to a promoter compatible with poxvirus expression systems that, upon expression, are capable of inducing protective immunity. The compositions can be used in a priming vaccination strategy or in a prime/boost vaccination strategy to provide immunity to SARS-CoV2 and variants thereof.

Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments, the present invention comprises use of a rapid and accurate QM-MSP and cMethDNA methylation marker-based assays to quickly distinguish between cancer and benign/normal tissues in a biological sample from a subject suspected of having cancer. Methods for detecting breast, colon, and lung cancers in biological samples of suspect tissues and fluids are also provided to assist in triaging subjects suspected of having cancer for expedited biopsy and pathology review in low resource settings.

Abstract: The present invention relates to strategies by which one or more phenolic resins are provided in aqueous phenolic dispersions in a manner so that the resultant aqueous phenolic dispersions are more easily combined with water-based latex compositions.
