  • Publication number: 20240115855
Abstract: A system for management of musculoskeletal disorders (SMMD) that is designed to integrate physiological monitoring and functional assessment, i.e., muscles, nerves, brain waves, cardiac, blood flow, heat rate, range of motion, global positioning, temperature and functional abilities into a single integrated test unit. The SMMD is operated by proprietary software which utilizes wireless sensor(s) that are interchangeable, rechargeable and that can process data without the need to be connected by a cable to a computer and/or wireless device such as a smartphone. The SMMD is also capable of offering preventative assessment as well as site-specific treatment. The SMMD comprises: at least one wireless sensor, at least one prevention and evaluation device, a wireless processing circuit, a receiving and transmitting interface, and a data receiving unit produces and output that indicates a subject's test results.

  • Publication number: 20210118563
Abstract: A method for providing virtual triage (MPVT) and a virtual clinic with diagnosis and treatment that preferably functions in combination with an Electrodiagnostic Functional Assessment (EFA) device, and that can be used for a person in general or particularly for an employee of a company who experiences an on-the-job medical issue or injury. The steps are typically the first action taken after person or employee experiences a medical issue or injury, and the steps are collectively known as Physicians Triage. The MPVT steps facilitate the quick and accurate diagnosis of an issue of injury and the determination of action to be taken such as immediate or postponed treatment. The MPVT can also be utilized with information that is used as baseline data for comparison/verification of an employee medical issue or injury that occurred at a later date. The baseline data can establish if an issue or injury such as a reported on-the-job injury is a new/current injury or a pre-existing condition.

  • Publication number: 20160100775
Abstract: An integrated movement assessment system (IMAS) that monitors a subject's movement by utilizing electromyography (EMG), range-of-motion (ROM) and functional capacity assessment (FCA). The EMG, ROM and FCA is used in combination with proprietary software that acquires data from wireless sensors which are attached to the subject and are capable of transmitting data wirelessly. In addition to assessment, the IMA can perform baseline and post-loss comparisons that are specific to a subject's occupation. When necessary or desired, the IMAS can also provide site-specific therapy.

  • Publication number: 20150223278
Abstract: A system and method for establishing a wireless connection that functions in combination with a first wireless-enabled device and at least one second wireless-enabled device. The devices can include a desktop computer, a laptop computer, a tablet computer, a smartphone, a cell phone, a printer or a camera The system and method functions with a conventional wireless communication protocol such as BLUETOOTH®, ZipBee or WiFi. A proprietary software program facilitates the first device identifying and establishing a wireless connection with the at least one second device, without the use of conventional pairing functionality.
