  • Patent number: 7319796
Abstract: A method is disclosed herein for compressing spectral data corresponding to an image comprising a plurality of pixels. The method includes the step of creating a set of potential endmembers. A first plurality of the potential endmembers are identified as a first set of endmembers based upon their respective correlations with a first spectral signature of a first of the plurality of pixels. The first pixel is then represented as a combination of the first set of endmembers. Processing of the image preferably continues by identifying a second plurality of the potential endmembers as a second set of endmembers based upon their respective correlations with a second spectral signature of a second of the plurality of pixels. The second pixel is then represented as a combination of the second set of endmembers.

  • Publication number: 20020059283
Abstract: The present invention relates to a highly customizable CRM system that can: utilize iterative scripts to interact with existing and potential customers (collectively “customers”). Customer responses to scripted questions can be stored and ranked in a database. The invention supports decision trees automatically linking future actions to feedback provided by the customer. Numerical values can be attributed to customer responses in accordance with predetermined criteria set by the user. An overall customer value can be generated from the aggregate responses of a customer. A customer rating can be generated by applying the customer value to a predetermined threshold. Decision trees can also link response values, customer values, and customer ratings to future customizable events. Decision trees can be embedded in a particular script, and decision trees can also span across several different scripts.

  • Patent number: 6329329
Abstract: A lubricant is provided which has a hardness in the range 0.1-10 N/mm at all temperatures in the range 15-40° C. The lubricant consists of at least one full ester of a glycol with a fatty acid, e.g. ethylene glycol dilaurate, optionally mixed with a minor amount of a fatty acid such as stearic acid, and/or a minor amount of a partial ester of a glycol with a fatty acid. The lubricant is useful in the production of press-formed components, and particularly in techniques for converting aluminium sheet to adhesively bonded aluminium structures.
