  • Patent number: 11935127
Abstract: This technology relates to providing a web-based digital claims platform to provide users with a simple and customized experience when filing insurance claims. The platform is enabled by a plurality of back-end application programming interface (API) resources. These API resources are event-driven (e.g., when an “event” associated with the claim occurs, the status of the claim changes and the API is provided with updated information indicative of the change). The platform includes a customized user interface (UI) that tailors the claim experience to a particular user's needs. The customization can be based off of stated user preferences and/or learned user preferences associated with the user's past behavior. A user can perform/request various services through the customized UI's self-service function (e.g., rent a car, find a hotel room, select a repair shop, etc.). Additionally, the customized UI can enable the user upload documents, track claim status, find relevant help topics, etc.

  • Publication number: 20240086442
Abstract: Technologies for document evaluation and identification of shared textual substrings between documents are described herein. Documents are evaluated and organized according to textual elements within the documents. A suffix index is generated from a reference document. The suffix index is used to identify common substrings of text within query documents using variable evaluation windows within the query documents. Indications of overlapping textual information between the reference document and query documents is generated as an output.

  • Patent number: 11900361
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to issuing tokens for identifiers associated with a resource provider account specific to the resource provider issuing the account. A resource provider processor system interfaces with a resource provider computer to validate account eligibility upon receiving a token request message. If the account is eligible for token generation, the resource provider processor system generates a universal identifier corresponding to the identifier associated with the resource provider account and returns the universal identifier to the token requestor. The token requestor may send a token request message to a token issuer for obtaining a token using the universal identifier. Accordingly, the universal account identifier can be used to provision a token into a digital wallet. Transactions using the token may be processed with the resource provider processor system acting as an account issuer.

  • Patent number: 10552883
Abstract: Systems and methods for administering merchant funded third-party administered rewards programs are provided. The system receives information about a transaction made using a payment device and determines whether the payment device is enrolled in the rewards program. If the payment device is enrolled in the rewards program, the system determines if the transaction qualifies for a reward. If the transaction qualifies for the reward, the system determines a rewards value for the transaction. Thereafter, the system determines a prepaid payment token associated with the payment device and instructs an issuer of the prepaid payment token to load the rewards value onto the prepaid payment token.

Abstract: Coated products are described comprising a metallic substrate, an aluminium-rich layer, a chromia-forming layer and a thermally insulating top coat. The chromia-forming layer is located between the substrate and the thermally-insulating top coat. The aluminium-rich layer is located between the substrate and the chromia-forming layer. The coating may be used to provide protection of parts exposed to conditions of relatively high temperatures, heat flux, and/or corrosive environments, such as the conditions in industrial gas turbines using poorer-quality fuels (such as bio-fuels).
