  • Patent number: 11977630
Abstract: There is disclosed in one example a ransomware mitigation engine, including: a processor; a convolutional neural network configured to provide file type identification (FTI) services including: identifying an access operation of a file as a write to the file or newly creating the file; computing a byte correlation factor for the file; classifying the file as belonging to a file type; determining with a screening confidence that the file type is correct for the file; determining that the screening confidence is below a screening confidence threshold; and circuitry and logic to provide heuristic analysis including: receiving notification that the confidence is below the confidence threshold; performing a statistical analysis of the file to determine a difference between an expected value and a computed value; determining from the difference, with a detection confidence, that the file has been compromised; and identifying the file as having been compromised by a ransomware attack.

  • Publication number: 20240091159
Abstract: Methods are provided for treating or preventing human immunodeficiency virus-1 (HIV-1) or human immunodeficiency virus-2 (HIV-2) in a virologically suppressed patient in need thereof comprising switching the patient from an antiretroviral treatment regimen comprising at least three antiretroviral agents to a treatment regimen comprising only two antiretroviral agents. In one aspect the two treatment regimen consists of dolutegravir, rilpivirine and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, diluent or carrier. In another aspect of the invention, there is provided a multilayer tablet comprising dolutegravir or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and rilpivirine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

  • Patent number: 7335883
Abstract: A method of imaging a sample, the method comprising: (a) irradiating a sample with a pulse of electromagnetic radiation, said pulse having a plurality of frequencies in the range from 25 GHz to 100 THz; (b) determining a first parameter related to the amplitude of the radiation, which is either reflected from and/or transmitted by the sample, in the time domain; (c) calculating the value of the first parameter at a first time value relative to the value of the first parameter at a second time value which coincides with a physical feature of the dataset of the first parameter with respect to time; and (d) generating an image by plotting the value calculated in step (c) for different points of the sample.
