  • Publication number: 20230314324
Abstract: Compositions, systems, and methods are disclosed for preparing and utilizing arrays, such as single-analyte arrays containing a plurality of fiducial elements with random spatial distributions. Arrays may be prepared with pluralities of fiducial elements comprising optically active or passive moieties. Arrays containing random spatial distributions of fiducial elements may be utilized for various array-based processes that require spatial information.

  • Publication number: 20220186303
Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and systems for sequencing nucleic acid molecules. Methods may include sequencing double-stranded nucleic acids or single-stranded nucleic acids. Sequencing may include the use of nucleotides coupled to electrostatic moieties. The electrostatic moieties may be detected by a sensor array. The electrostatic moieties may be reversible electrostatic moieties that are cleaved from the nucleic acid molecule after incorporation of the nucleotide. The electrostatic moieties may be irreversible electrostatic moieties. Nucleotides comprising irreversible electrostatic moieties may be incorporated into the nucleic acid molecule, detected by the sensor array, and exchanged for non-detectable nucleotides.

  • Patent number: 8882980
Abstract: Devices and methods for detecting an analyte are provided. Devices for voltage sensing of analytes may comprise a fluidic channel defined in a substrate, a pair of sensing electrodes disposed in a fluidic channel for sensing voltage therein, and a pair of electromotive electrodes for applying potential along the fluidic channel. The pair of sensing electrodes may include a first and second sensing electrode disposed at two discrete locations along the length of the fluidic channel and the pair of electromotive electrodes may be disposed at a first end and a second end of the fluidic channel. The fluidic channel may include a nanochannel or a microchannel.
