Abstract: A washing counter, including a bowl portion having a concave configuration used for washing and the like, a counter portion supporting the bowl portion, and a light source portion disposed on a backside of the bowl portion to emit light toward the bowl portion. The light radiates from the surface of the bowl to the surroundings with at least one portion of the bowl portion being formed of a transparent member. The transparent member is obtained by dispersing a light diffusing member in a base member having a transparent raw material having light-transmitting transparency. The light diffusing member being a micro particle having a transparent raw material having a light refractive index different from a light refractive index of the base member.
