  • Patent number: 6685644
Abstract: An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus includes first and second probes. The inside of an object to be examined is scanned with a first ultrasound beam through the first probe to acquire first ultrasound image data associated with the object. The inside of the object is scanned with a second ultrasound beam through the second probe to acquire second ultrasound image data associated with the object. The second ultrasound image data is synthesized with the first ultrasound image data on the basis of the position of the first probe relative to the second probe, which is detected by a position detector.

  • Patent number: 6108439
Abstract: An ultrasound image processing system, having an ultrasound image capture device such as a B-mode ultrasound probe capable of making 2D scans over a predetermined range, and a drive for moving an ultrasound transducer in a direction different from the direction of 2D scans by the transducer to capture 2D ultrasound images sequentially in a predetermined pitch in the direction of movement of the ultrasound transducer. The ultrasound image processing system is provided with a marker for inserting a marker sign on field images selected from a large number of 2D ultrasound images sequentially captured by the image capture device, for use in three-dimensional image processing in a subsequent stage.

  • Patent number: 5959248
Abstract: In an electrical junction box, a female connector is provided in an upper cover adapted to cover the upper surface of a circuit board having a plurality of bus bars, a male connector engaging with the female connector is fixed with a bolt, a nut engaged with the bolt is supported by a nut support in the female connector, a cylindrical hollow is formed in the nut support, and a scraping-scattering preventing section which is fitted in the cylindrical hollow is formed on the circuit board. Hence, even if the bolt or the nut forms metal scrapings when the former is engaged with the latter, the scrapings are accommodated in the receiving pan of the scraping-scattering preventing section; that is, they are prevented from dropping on the circuit board.

  • Patent number: 5211176
Abstract: An ultrasound examination system, including an ultrasound probe detachably connected at its proximal end to a probe operating unit and having an ultrasound transducer rotatably mounted on the tip end of a flexible insert member and a rotation transmitting means passed through the insert member to rotate the ultrasound transducer. The probe operating unit is provided with a linear operating means for displacing the ultrasound transducer linearly for a linear scan, and a radial operating unit for rotating the ultrasound transducer for a radial scan, in combination with a mode selector means for switching the operation of the ultrasound transducer between linear scan mode in which the transducer is displaced linearly during transmission and reception of ultrasound signals and a radial scan mode in which the transducer is rotated during transmission and reception of ultrasound signals.
