  • Patent number: 9268328
Abstract: A production efficiency improving apparatus includes a first communicating means for communicating information with a plurality of processing apparatuses that process objects, and a second communicating means for communicating conveyance control information, with a conveyance system comprising conveyance apparatuses for conveying the objects between the plurality of processing apparatuses. A means for predicting, on the basis of information communicated by the first communicating means, the conveying timing at which the processing apparatus needs to send out processed objects, and the conveying timing at which the processing apparatus needs to bring in unprocessed objects. A generating means generates the control information such that the conveyance apparatus will arrive at the processing apparatus that is the destination of the communication of information at the predicted timing predicted by the means for predicting.

  • Publication number: 20080051023
Abstract: The invention relates to a system for ventilating and/or tempering a motor vehicle, comprising a basic version which encompasses at least one fan arrangement (2) that is part of a motor vehicle ventilation system (1). The fan arrangement (2) is provided with at least one fan wheel (6) that is placed in a multi-part air-conducting housing (5) and a motor (7) which drives said fan wheel (6). An additional ventilation system (1) is composed of a plurality of air ducts (3) and air inlet nozzles (4). The inventive system can be expanded in a modular fashion, wherefore at least one area (10, 12) of the air-conducting housing (5) is embodied in a replaceable manner.

  • Patent number: 5614987
Abstract: A print detector for use in a sorter capable of detecting photoprints on each of a plurality of print carriers so as to prevent photoprints from being erroneously left on any print carrier. Print carriers are mounted at equal intervals on an endless belt adapted to be driven in one direction. Each print carrier has an optical path block mounted on its underside, i.e. the side that faces downward while the carrier is being fed downward. Each print is also provided with a transparent portion along an optical axis of light reflected obliquely upward by a reflecting end face provided at one end of the optical path block. A light emitter emits light to a light incoming end face of the optical path block. A light interceptor is provided on the optical axis of the light reflected by the reflecting end face, and an alarm device is adapted to be activated if the light interceptor fails to receive light emitted by the light emitter.

  • Patent number: 5066039
Abstract: An air bag device for use with a motor vehicle has an inflatable bag on the inner surface of which is provided a thin film-like layer of gas generating agent. At least one igniter is mounted in a part of the thin gas generating agent layer. When the vehicle encounters a collision, the gas generating agent is ignited by the igniter to generate gas. The gas fills up and thereby inflates the bag to restrain an occupant of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 5062367
Abstract: This invention relates to an air bag inflation gas generator to feed gas for inflation of air bags such as air bags for absorbing collision shocks, life jackets, rafts, and escape chutes. The air bag inflation gas generator according to the present invention has a combustion chamber comprising a bottom-closed cylinder of a housing body and a lid covering the opening of the bottom-closed cylinder. The housing body comprises the bottom-closed cylinder, a flange extending outward and formed integrally with the opening of the bottom-closed cylinder, and an external cylinder formed on the periphery of the flange and bent toward the bottom of the housing body. A plenum chamber is formed by covering the external and bottom-closed cylinders with a covering member from the bottom of the housing body and by welding the covering member to the cylinders.
