  • Patent number: 7146325
Abstract: The present invention permits a data related to a destination used in an order reception operation of a goods delivery service to be acquired from an address information stored in an address information file retained in a portable electronic terminal, thus leading to utilization of the address information stored in the address information file as the data related to the destination used in the order reception operation of the goods delivery service. Thereby, a manual input of addresses, etc., in a product sales data processing system can be saved. Accordingly, a store with installation of the sales data processing system will achieve shortening of operation time, improvement of work efficiency, and reduction of mistakes, and a customer who owns the portable electronic terminal will be able to enjoy enhancement of the convenience and serviceability.

    Filed: February 22, 2002
Date of Patent: December 5, 2006
    Assignee: Toshiba TEC Kabushiki Kaisha
Inventors: Masato Yamakawa, Masanori Takeuchi, Yoshiaki Gomi, Masaaki Makino

  • Publication number: 20020103707
Abstract: This invention permits the customer information used for a ticketing operation to be acquired from the owner information stored in an owner information file of a portable electronic terminal, thus leading to utilization of the owner information such as addresses, etc. stored in the owner information file for a ticketing operation as the customer information. Thereby, a manual input of addresses, etc., in a product sales data processing apparatus can be saved. Accordingly, a store with installation of the product sales data processing apparatus will achieve shortening of operation time, improvement of work efficiency, and reduction of mistakes, and a customer who owns the portable electronic terminal will be able to enjoy enhancement of the convenience and serviceability.

  • Patent number: 5341402
Abstract: An automatic frequency control method for use in a receiver mixes a received signal and a local oscillator signal to produce an intermediate frequency signal and converts the intermediate frequency signal to a voltage signal. The voltage signal is converted to digital data which is then compared with a theoretical value, outputting frequency correction data which permits the difference between the digital data and the theoretical value to be minimized. The frequency of the local oscillator signal is controlled according to the frequency correction data so that the intermediate frequency signal becomes the normal frequency.

    Inventors: Naohiro Matsushita, Masaaki Makino
  • Patent number: 5111152
Abstract: A demodulating apparatus comprises a frequency detector for performing a frequency-detection on a digital modulation signal to acquire a detection signal, a clock generator for generating a clock signal, and a discrimination circuit for sampling a voltage level of the detection signal from the frequency detector at a clock timing of the clock signal from the clock generator, and converting the sampled voltage level into digital data, which is set to have one of first and second logic values on the basis of a reference voltage LDC.
