Patent number: 12078627Abstract: The present invention suppresses an adverse effect caused when an additional gas such as water vapor is mixed in a sample gas or the like that is subjected to gas measurement. In an embodiment of the present invention, in gas measurement for analyzing sensor output signals obtained by alternately supplying a sample gas and a reference gas to a sensor element while alternately switching between the sample gas and the reference gas, the sample gas and the reference gas pass through a humidity equilibration device partitioned by a water vapor permeable membrane, and then are supplied to the sensor element. As a result, since both gases have substantially the same value of humidity at the time of being supplied to the sensor element, influences of water vapor are substantially cancelled out in signals output from the sensor element by the alternate supply of the sample gas and the reference gas.Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 2020Date of Patent: September 3, 2024Assignee: NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR MATERIALS SCIENCEInventors: Genki Yoshikawa, Takahiro Nemoto, Masaaki Matoba, Kosuke Minami

Patent number: 10455701Abstract: A resin board structure includes a first member including a first metal film and one thermoplastic resin layer or a stack which includes two or more thermoplastic resin layers, and a second member including a second metal film. The first and second metal films are bonded together, and at least a portion the first metal film and at least a portion of the second metal film overlap each other. The first and second metal films are metallurgically bonded at an interface between the first metal film and the second metal film. The first member includes a first junction resin covering portion defined by a portion of a thermoplastic resin layer and overlapping a portion at which the first metal film and the second metal film overlap each other, and the first junction resin covering portion includes an uneven surface to reduce or prevent slippage due to ultrasonic vibration.Type: GrantFiled: February 28, 2018Date of Patent: October 22, 2019Assignee: MURATA MANUFACTURING CO., LTD.Inventors: Yoshihito Otsubo, Masaaki Minami

Patent number: 8963501Abstract: A voltage equalization device of a power storage device provided with battery packs in which a plurality of secondary cells are connected, power converters provided in association with the battery packs, and controllers that control the power converters, and in which the battery packs are connected in parallel via the individual power converters includes a decision portion and a voltage-adjusting portion. The decision portion obtains battery-pack information regarding the states of charge/discharge of the individual battery packs and decides, for each battery pack, whether or not to perform voltage adjustment on the basis of the battery-pack information. When the decision portion decides that the voltage adjustment is to be performed, the voltage-adjusting portion generates offset instructions for adjusting the states of charge/discharge and outputs the offset instructions to the controllers of the power converters associated with the battery packs.Type: GrantFiled: December 2, 2009Date of Patent: February 24, 2015Assignees: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd., Kyushu Electric Power Co., IncInventors: Tetsuro Shigemizu, Takehiko Nishida, Katsuo Hashizaki, Masaaki Minami, Keiichiro Tanaka, Kazuyuki Adachi, Shinji Murakami, Kouji Kurayama, Hirofumi Fujita

Patent number: 6586278Abstract: A method for mounting an electronic component on a substrate is shown, which involves positioning an electronic component 1 on wiring electrodes 5 of a substrate 4 via bumps 3, application of ultrasonic oscillation to the electronic component 1 where the ultrasonic oscillation of the top portion of an ultrasonic-oscillation applying unit (a collet) 8 is larger than the oscillating amplitude of the electronic component 1. After heating the bumps 3 and an area in proximity thereto, the bumps 3 and the wiring electrodes 5 on the substrate 4 are metallically bonded, thereby mounting the electronic component 1 on the substrate 4 via the bumps 3.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2000Date of Patent: July 1, 2003Assignee: Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd.Inventors: Takeshi Osaka, Mototsugu Okamura, Masaaki Minami
