  • Publication number: 20020044095
Abstract: In order to transmit a signal received in a GPS antenna (20) to a GPS receiver body (30) through a glass plate (40), a signal transmission circuit (10) is divided into first and second signal transmission parts (11, 12). The first signal transmission part (11) is for transmitting a high frequency signal from an output terminal (20out) of the GPS antenna (20) to a first surface (41) of the glass plate (40). The second signal transmission part (12) is for transmitting the high frequency signal from a second surface (42) of the glass plate (40) to an input terminal (30in) of the GPS receiver body (30). The first signal transmission part (11) comprises a first coaxial cable (111), a first electrode pair (112), a first balanced line (113), and a first balun (114). The second signal transmission part (12) comprises a second coaxial cable (121), a second electrode pair (122), a second balanced line (123), and a second balun (124).

  • Patent number: 6342856
Abstract: A thin plane antenna that copes with the horizontally polarized waves and the vertically polarized waves, or the levo-rotary polarized waves and the dextro-rotary polarized waves, and in which a loop-shaped plane antenna element (12) is arranged in parallel with a ground plane (15), and a first feeder conductor (13) and a second feeder conductor (14) having feeding points displayed by 90 degrees are arranged between the plane antenna element and the ground plane. Central conductors (18a) and (19a) of the coaxial lines are connected to the first and second feeder conductors, and external conductors (18b) and (19b) thereof are connected to the ground plane to feed electric power to the antenna element through the electromagnetic coupling. When the electric power is fed from the first feeder conductor (13), the horizontally polarized waves are radiated and when the electric power is fed from the second feeder conductor (14), the vertically polarized waves are radiated.

  • Publication number: 20010052882
Abstract: A plurality of copper wires are disposed between coaxially arranged an inner cylindrical member and an outer cylindrical member, with one end of each copper wire being fixed at a predetermined position. The remaining portion of each copper wire is spirally bent so as to wind itself around the inner cylindrical member, with the center axes of both the inner cylindrical member and the outer cylindrical member serving as a winding center. Then, an amount of insulative resin is poured into an annular space formed between the inner cylindrical member and the outer cylindrical member. In this way, the spirally deformed copper wires are sealed within the wall portion of a hollow cylindrical insulative resin member.

  • Patent number: 5843350
Abstract: A method of easily consecutively manufacturing a layered structure with the same or different kinds of materials superposed in a plurality of layers, is attained by a simple mechanical method. The layered structure manufacturing method is embodied by use of a shaping apparatus having a unique construction. The shaping apparatus includes a plurality of irregular passageways disposed in a side-by-side relationship in the same direction, wherein sectional configurations of the irregular passageways continuously vary from inlets thereof toward outlets, and the irregular passageways are superposed on each other at the outlets. An apparatus body as a principal portion of the shaping apparatus may be constructed by connecting a plurality of elements in series, which are internally formed with the irregular passageways. Materials to be shaped, which exhibit a fluidity or plasticity, are fed into the inlets of the irregular passageways in the shaping apparatus.
