    Abstract: A tire vulcanizing mold is disclosed capable of accurately providing a clearance, from which air existing between a green tire and a side mold is released, on a side shaping surface and thereby preventing shaping defect. The tire vulcanizing mold includes an upper and lower pair of side molds having side shaping surfaces. Each of the side molds includes a side mold main body, plural pieces, and a clearance provided between the side mold main body and each of the pieces. The side mold main body includes plural recesses, each of which is opened to the side shaping surface and an outer surface, at spaced intervals. Each of the pieces is fitted into the recess and forms the side shaping surface with the side mold main body. The clearance is opened to the side shaping surface and extends from an inner side to an outer side.

Mold parting planes 16 and 17 are provided to divide the lateral groove molding rib 18 at a position where the protrusion molding recess 18a is provided.

An evacuation path from the protrusion molding recess to the mold parting plane is provided to the lateral groove molding rib.

    Abstract: A tire vulcanizer is provided which is capable of arranging a sector at a specified position during closing of a mold and suppressing a vulcanization molding defect. The tire vulcanizer includes: the sector that shapes a tread of a tire; paired upper and lower side plates that shape sidewalls of the tire; a segment to which the sector is fixed and which causes the sector to move in a tire radial direction; and mold parting surfaces defined by the sector and the side plates. Mold inner ends of the mold parting surfaces are arranged on the tread, and the mold parting surfaces extend outward in the tire radial direction from the mold inner ends. The sector includes paired upper and lower flange sections which respectively abut the paired upper and lower side plates in a state where the adjacent sectors in the tire circumferential direction tightly contact each other.

    Abstract: A tire vulcanization mold according to an embodiment includes a side molding surface, a stencil plate forming a convex mark at an outer surface of a side portion, and an attachment recess depressed in the side molding surface. The stencil plate includes a mark forming concave portion which is depressed from a surface by embossing and a curved portion formed by curving both end portions in a width direction in a direction opposite to the depressed direction of the concave portion. The stencil plate may be attached to the attachment recess by press-inserting. A tip of the curved portion may contact a wall surface of the attachment recess to be elastically deformed so that a curved state of the curved portion increases and the stencil plate may be fixed into the attachment recess by fitting.

A top surface of the opening portion in the housing and a top surface of the head portion are formed by a flat surface. The top surface of the opening portion in the housing and the top surface of the head portion in a state in which the exhaust passage is closed are both arranged closer to an opposite side to the cavity than the molding surface.
