  • Publication number: 20050256595
Abstract: In a digital mixer, one of channels assigned to channel strips is selected, via a select switch, from among a plurality of channels allocated to a layer selected via a layer selection switch. The selected channel is retained in a history table. Each time a history readout switch is depressed, a channel history is read out from the history table. The thus read-out channel is set as an editing channel. In a layer-linking mode, the layer to which the read-out channel is allocated is selected, and the channels contained in the layer are assigned to the channel strips.

  • Publication number: 20050159832
Abstract: A method of controlling a plurality of external devices is performed on a computer which is set up with a plurality of remote control processes corresponding to the plurality of the external devices, and a management process for managing the remote control processes while communicating with the remote control processes. The management process is called to display icons corresponding to the remote control processes in a display field provided by the management process. Further, the management process acts when a specified operation is applied to one of the icons on the display field for sending a screen open instruction to one of the remote control processes corresponding to the icon to which the specified operation is applied. The remote control process which receives the screen open instruction is activated to display a control screen for use in remotely controlling the corresponding external device.

  • Publication number: 20050033699
Abstract: A method is designed for embedding an identification code into a musical apparatus which is allotted a serial number. The method is carried out by the steps of accepting an input of the serial number by a user of the musical apparatus, applying a specific operation to the accepted serial number to generate the identification code which is associated with the serial number and which is capable of uniquely identifying the music apparatus, and writing the generated identification code into a specified address of a nonvolatile memory which is integrated in the music apparatus such that the written identification code is never rewritten inappropriately.

  • Publication number: 20040184625
Abstract: While an AUX-bus selecting operator is being operated beyond a predetermined time period, displays of channel-ON operators, normally indicating ON/OFF states of corresponding input channels, indicate ON/OFF states of signal delivery from the input channels to the AUX bus. Thus, a user can readily confirm, with minimized operation, the ON/OFF states of the signal delivery from the input channels to the second bus. Operating any one of the channel-ON operators in this state can change the ON/OFF state of the signal delivery from the corresponding input channel to the AUX bus. Further, operating the AUX-bus selecting switch while keeping operating the layer operator, current fader settings of the input channels can be copied as delivery levels of signals from the input channels to the AUX bus.

  • Publication number: 20040131209
Abstract: As viewed from the front of an operation panel, adjustment sections for individual input channels are positioned on the operation panel close to a human operator, and a display, a control section for setting an equalizer process, compressor process etc. for one selected channel and a signal delivery control section for setting signal delivery to mixing buses for the selected channel are positioned in a horizontal row remotely from the human operator. Operators in the delivery control section are varied in function in accordance with a selected operation mode. For example, in a mix send mode, a plurality of rotary operators are set to function as send level adjustment operators for the respective input channels so as to adjust send levels to a given mixing bus, while, in a mix master mode, the rotary operators are set to function as output gain adjustment operators for the respective mixing buses.

  • Patent number: 6751399
Abstract: Recording section stores time-varying frames of dynamic picture image information and a frame of still picture image information into a same storage area of a image storage section together in a mixed manner. Reproducing section identifies the individual frames of the dynamic picture image information and the still picture image information stored in the image storage section and then reproduces the identified frames of the dynamic picture image information and the still picture image information at reproduction speeds that are set separately for the dynamic picture image information and the still picture image information.

  • Publication number: 20040071301
Abstract: There is provided a mixing method which is executed by a mixing apparatus and enables cascade connection without providing the mixing apparatus with any terminals used exclusively for cascade connection. The mixing method is executed by a first mixing apparatus including a plurality of input terminals when a second mixing apparatus is connected in cascade to part of the input terminals of the first mixing apparatus. At least one audio signal input to part of the plurality of input terminals is set as at least one cascade signal supplied from the second mixing apparatus. Arithmetic operations are performed on at least one audio signal input to at least one input terminal other than the part of the plurality of input terminals. The at least one cascade signal and the at least one audio signal on which the arithmetic operations have been performed are mixed.

  • Publication number: 20040066792
Abstract: A signal switching apparatus is provided which is capable of performing checking in a manner that a plurality of output channels can be discriminated in checking the assignment of the plurality of output channels to buses to which signals are input. A plurality of signals input to a mix bus comprised of six buses are selectively output to two analog outputs in accordance with assignment performed by an output assigning device. First checking signals for three channels among six channels from a first oscillator are directly input to an adjuster, and first checking signals for the rest of the six channels from the first oscillator are input to a signal switching device. Second checking signals for all of three channels from a second oscillator are input to the checking signal switching device. The checking signal switching device selectively outputs the input first or second checking signals to the adjuster.

  • Publication number: 20030219136
Abstract: There is provided an electronic apparatus which is capable of preventing loss of edited operation data even if a user fails to perform a saving operation on the edited operation data. A shadow storage stores n pieces of operation data for controlling operation of the electronic apparatus. A current storage stores operation data being currently used to control operation of the electronic apparatus and including a piece of operation data as initial data selected from the n pieces of operation data stored in the shadow storage. Responsive to operation of the operator, a CPU changes the contents of the operation data stored in the current storage.

  • Patent number: 6642444
Abstract: Plural part playback channels each play back music performance signals of respectively assigned performance parts selectively in an enhanced mode or in an unenhanced mode. When an enhanced mode is designated for a particular channel 2 (at time A), the channel 2 plays back the music performance signals in a prominent manner and channels 1, 3-6 plays back in a suppressed manner. The tone volume of the channels 1, 3-6 in the suppressed manner is set by manipulating the contrast dial CD. Where the enhanced mode is set for plural channels 2 and 6 (between time C and time D), manipulation of an enhanced mode clear switch SC (at time D) causes cancellation of the prominent manner of playback at the channels 2 and 6 as well as the suppressed manner of playback at the channels 1, 3-5.

  • Patent number: 6560399
Abstract: For enabling simultaneous reproduction of a plurality of dynamic picture image information which have been recorded separately, the plurality of dynamic picture image information are separately recorded in a plurality of storage areas in a DRAM. The plurality of dynamic picture image information are disposed in different display areas on the same screen and reproduced simultaneously with reproduction points of the respective dynamic picture image information being timewise matched by a reproduction point designation section with respect to all of the dynamic picture image information.

  • Publication number: 20030076966
Abstract: In a digital mixer capable of forming a plurality of externally-input signals into multi-channel surround signals by a mixing bus section, a plurality of output channels are set which correspond to a multi-channel surround channel configuration, and the thus-set output channels are connected to a monitoring speaker system. When the externally-input signals are multi-channel surround signals, the digital mixer permits a selection as to whether the externally-input signals are to be monitored or not. If the externally-input signals are to be monitored, they are patched or converted in such a manner that their surround channel configuration agrees with the surround channel configuration of monitoring output channels, and then the externally-input signals are distributed among the monitoring output channels. Further, the digital mixer permits another selection as to whether the multi-channel surround signals formed by the mixing bus section are to be monitored or not.
