    Abstract: A purifying unit containing an adsorbent is positioned between the discharge outlet of a discharge pipe from which boiled water is discharged, and an extracting chamber, so that boiled water flows into the extracting chamber after detrimental components are removed from the boiled water by the purifying unit. Further, a passage change-over section is provided in order to circulate water through the heater until the water is heated up to a temperature suitable for extraction of coffee, and the passage change-over section allows water to be discharged into the extracting chamber from the discharge outlet of the discharge pipe when the water is heated up to the suitable temperature.
