    Abstract: A substrate coating device (10) includes a precision stage (7), a nozzle (8), and conveyors (3 to 6 and 21). The precision stage (7) has a horizontal placement surface for placing a substrate W thereon and is configured to be reciprocable between an upstream end and a downstream end in a conveying direction. The conveyors (3 to 6 and 21) are configured to convey the substrate W in the conveying direction via the placement surface of the precision stage (7) in such manner that a surface of the substrate W is positioned in a horizontal plane. The intermediate conveyor (21) is liftable between a conveying position where a conveying surface of the intermediate conveyor is coincident with the placement surface of the stage and a non-conveying position where the conveying surface is positioned below the placement surface of the stage.

    Abstract: An electromagnetic relay, having a core 3 fixed by press-fitting in a yoke 4, which is facilitated in attaching operation and eliminated of the possibility, during press-fitting, of being placed in poor contact by metal chips produced by cutting away the yoke 4 by the core 3. The core 3 is provided with a smaller diameter portion 3c at an end portion and is inserted into a center of a bobbin 1 having a coil 2 wound therearound. A cutout 5 is formed in the yoke 4 so as to receive by press-fitting the smaller diameter portion 3c of the core 3. First slant surfaces 6 are formed in the edge of an opening of the cutout 5 such that the wall thickness becomes thinner toward the opening. Second slant surfaces 7 are provided in the form of curved surfaces at the terminal ends of the first slant surfaces in a manner smoothly continuing to a general surface of the yoke 4 and also to the first slant surfaces 6.

A main shaft is disposed in and secured at one end to the casing in alignment with the central axis of the cylinder. A piston having a piston head is slidably fitted over the main shaft such that the piston head is disposed within the cylinder for axial motion. A coil spring extends between the piston and casing to bias the piston in a first axial direction and an armature radially extends from the outer periphery of the piston for interaction with an electromagnet disposed around the longitudinal periphery of the piston. The electromagnet attracts the armature and hence the piston in a second axial direction opposite from the first direction.

    Abstract: A magnet holder for an electromagnetic diaphragm pump comprising a reinforcing member having at least in part thereof a width smaller than the distance between a pair of magnets placed in the predetermined positions in magnet insertion windows is provided integrally with the magnet holder between the pair of magnet insertion windows for juxtaposing and holding a pair of flat plate-shaped magnets in the same plane, so that the mechanical strength of the magnet holder is prevented from decreasing. And positioning members may be formed in the reinforcing member for pressing the pair of magnets inserted into the magnet insertion windows toward the diaphragms attached to opposite ends of the magnet holder, thereby positioning the magnets with enough accuracy and determining the distance between the magnets.

The width of a securement portion for the permanent magnet of the reciprocative shaft is relatively narrow compared to the other portions, and the permanent magnet consists of a pair of permanent magnet pieces bonded together by sandwiching the securement portion therebetween. The electromagnetic pump further comprises a fluid operation member for expanding or contracting the volume in the fluid operation chamber by the reciprocation movement of the reciprocative shaft so as to guide fluid out.
