  • Publication number: 20050176411
Abstract: There is provided a mobile terminal with an international dialing operation function, which enables unfamiliar and troublesome conversion into an international telephone number to be performed with a simpler operation and which performs conversion into an appropriate telephone number according to the location where the terminal has moved. The mobile terminal identifies its location with a location identification section and determines whether an originating call is a call to the originator's country or to a foreign country according to the identified location. If the call is to a foreign country, an international prefix according to the identified location is identified. Furthermore, a country code is set to correspond to the originator's country, or it is identified from the inputted counterpart's telephone number and the like. Conversion into an international telephone number is performed using the country code, and then a call is originated.
