  • Publication number: 20230144494
Abstract: An audio signal processing device includes a first input terminal which receives an audio signal from a record player, a memory which stores a correction parameter for audio signal processing and characteristic information indicating the characteristic of an audio signal for measurement, a signal processing circuit which performs the audio signal processing on the audio signal received based on the correction parameter, and a microcomputer. The microcomputer measures the sound characteristic of the audio signal received when the audio signal for measurement recorded on a phonograph record for measurement are reproduced, generates the correction parameter based on a result of comparison between the result of the measurement and the characteristic information, and stores, in the memory, setting information and the correction parameter generated, in association with each other, the setting information indicating a setting on the audio signal processing when the measurement is performed.

  • Patent number: 7577062
Abstract: A battery-operated recording medium controller monitors the ID of a replayed melody and when a replay ID comparing section (A126) makes a decision that a melody of the same ID as the previous one is replayed, a section (A127) for judging necessity of auxiliary information designates an auxiliary information access control section not to acquire auxiliary information (ID3 tag) again from a disc but to reuse auxiliary information stored in an auxiliary information storing section A. Consequently, the number of times of accessing the recording medium is decreased, and when the auxiliary information added to reproduction data like the ID3 tag of an MP3 is acquired, moving distance of an optical pickup is decreased and current consumption can be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20090017755
Abstract: In the information communication device of the present invention, the first device and the second device are arranged to be connected by wired and exchange device information with each other, as a result of which the first device and the second device can be placed into a state permitting Bluetooth-based wireless communication between the two even without performing a Bluetooth pairing process. Accordingly, the user can enable Bluetooth-based wireless communication simply by inserting the portable audio device 2, i.e. the second device, into the slot 3 in the audio system 1, i.e. the first device, which allows operability to be improved.

  • Publication number: 20090010112
Abstract: Provided is a recording medium playback device intended to achieve a reduction in power consumption by stopping disk rotation during a period in which no content data is being read, while improving playability and responsiveness to external key inputs or the like. A system control section 106 instructs a servo control section 105 to stop rotating a spindle motor 102 after an optical pickup 103 completely reads the content data that is being reproduced, and to forcibly rotate the spindle motor 102 in order to start reading the next content data to be reproduced when the remaining amount of data accumulated in a buffer memory 113 falls to a threshold n or lower, the threshold n being calculated based on (a) a stabilization time of the spindle motor 102, (b) a moving time of the optical pickup 103, and (c) a speed at which data is read from the buffer memory 113.
