  • Patent number: 5402203
Abstract: A camera with an automatic bracketing device for permitting photographing of a plurality of frames in group while exposure is stepwise changed under a certain exposure condition solves a problem which is caused when the number of frames to be photographed in a bracketing photographing mode is set larger than the number of remaining available frames of a film. The camera comprises means for calculating the number of remaining available frames based on the number of available frames of the film loaded and the number of photographed frames, means for calculating a proper exposure, means for setting the number of frames to be photographed in a bracketing photographing mode in which a plurality of frames are photographed with changing exposures, and means for setting the number of steps of exposure to be changed in the bracketing photographing mode.

  • Patent number: 5374047
Abstract: In separating one of a plurality of sheets stacked in a cassette from the remainder, a separation pad holder facing one side of the circumference of a sheet feed roller, which is rotatably driven, is urged in such a manner that a separation pad is brought into contact with or separation from the circumference of the sheet feed roller. Accordingly, an uppermost sheet can be pushed out in separation by friction force. When the sheet reaches a pair of sheet feed rollers, the separation pad holder can retreat with the interference of a projection formed in the separation pad holder by its own tension of the sheet across each circumference of the sheet feed collars and the pair of sheet feed rollers, thus eliminating friction generated between the separation pad and the sheet.

  • Patent number: 5294106
Abstract: An image forming apparatus in which probability of sheet jamming is reduced and jammed sheet can be easily removed. The apparatus is provided with a guide plate, a movable guide plate defining a sheet feed passage therebetween, and a first sheet feed roller. A detachable sheet cassette is provided for attachment to a main body portion of the apparatus. In the sheet cassette, are provided a second sheet feed roller and a leaf spring which urges the second sheet feed roller toward the first sheet feed roller when the sheet cassette is attached to the main body portion. The sheet feed passage is opened by pivotal movement of the movable guide plate when the sheet cassette is detached from the main body portion, to thereby facilitate removal of the jamming sheet from the sheet feed passage.

  • Patent number: 4757340
Abstract: A camera is provided with an automatic focusing apparatus in which an imaging lens moved for focusing is locked by an identical locking member in both the automatic and manual focusing operation. The focusing apparatus has a single locking member for locking movement of an imaging lens. The locking member is displaced at a predetermined position in accordance with a signal corresponding to a distance to an object in an automatic focusing mode, and is displaced at a position corresponding to a distance set by a manual distance setting member when the focusing mode is switched to the manual mode.

  • Patent number: 4544252
Abstract: An apparatus for displaying camera information in the view finder of a camera is provided with a sheet-like display member having plural display portions on which reference characters indicative of the camera information are depicted, respectively. A light emission array is disposed opposed to and spaced away from the display member. Each of plural light emission elements of the light emission array corresponds to the respective one of the display portions on the display member. The space between the light emission array and the display member is divided into plural regions each of which contains the light emission element and the corresponding display portion, so that any transmission of light between each adjacent region is prevented. The light from each of the light emission elements is condensed by a light condensing device and is projected toward the corresponding display portion through a light diffusion device disposed between the light condensing device and the display member.

  • Patent number: 4432533
Abstract: A method of repairing a refractory lining of a vessel lined with refractory by flame gunning process, in which a patching material consisting of refractory particles and carbonaceous fuel powder is flame-gunned together with an oxygen containing gas to fuse or semi-fuse the refractory particles in a region surrounded by high-temperature flame and struck against the surface of the refractory lining to produce a deposit layer of the refractory particles, is disclosed. In this method, a patching material having a higher mixing ratio of the fuel powder or only the fuel powder is flame-gunned at an initial stage of the repairing and subsequently patching materials, in which the mixing ratio of the fuel powder is lowered stepwise, are flame-gunned in order with the progress of the repairing, during which a blow rate of the oxygen containing gas is controlled in accordance with the change of the mixing ratio of the fuel powder in the patching material.
