    Abstract: A three-dimensional memory device includes an alternating stack of insulating layers and electrically conductive layers located over a plurality of source layers, where the electrically conductive layers include word lines and source-side select gate electrodes which are located between the plurality of source layers and the word lines in a vertical direction, groups of memory openings vertically extending through the alternating stack, and groups of memory opening fill structures located in the groups of memory openings. The plurality of source layers are laterally spaced apart and electrically isolated from each other, and each respective one of the plurality of source layers contacts at least one respective group of the groups of memory opening fill structures.

    Abstract: Provided is a roller hemming apparatus capable of preventing positional misalignment of a lower plate workpiece during a bending process. A roller hemming apparatus of the present disclosure includes a die configured to hold a first workpiece which is a plate material, and a roller configured to bend an edge of the first workpiece onto an edge of a second workpiece, which is a plate material placed on the first workpiece held in the die, to overlap each other, the die including a suction mechanism that opens toward a workpiece contact surface against which a hem flange on a peripheral edge of the first workpiece abuts, and that suctions the first workpiece. Thus, positional misalignment of the first workpiece is prevented during a hemming process.

    Abstract: An ultrasonic diagnosing apparatus comprises a first mechanism connected to the rotation shaft of a motor to convert a rotation motion to a circular motion, and an universal joint type second mechanism connecting at one end to said first mechanism such that it can be freely moved in any direction. The universal joint type second mechanism is connected at the other end such that it can swing in a predetermined direction to cause the circular motion transmitted by said first mechanism to be converted to the circular motion to permit an ultrasonic probe to oscillatingly scan a subject to be examined.
