Abstract: An optical module includes: a butterfly-type optical device including a body that contains a heating element in an interior space, a lid body that puts a lid on the interior space, and a plurality of pins; a substrate including a connecting surface to which the plurality of pins are connected; and a heat-dissipating component arranged to the connecting surface side, wherein the optical device is connected to the connecting surface with a heat-dissipating surface, of a part that has been arranged with the heating element, oriented to the heat-dissipating component side, and with a gap provided to a side of the lid body opposite to a side of the interior space.

Abstract: A receiving filter of a SAW separator that prevents temperature increase, and enables to improve electric power-resisting property and attains high performance. A series arms and parallel arms of a transmitting filter and receiving filter are equipped with ladder type filters comprising SAW resonators. In the receiving filter, the number of pairs of finger electrodes of a parallel arm resonator P1 arranged at the first stage viewed from input side is larger than the number of pairs of finger electrodes of parallel arm resonators P2, . . . at other stages. Or interdigitated width of finger electrodes of the parallel resonator at the first stage is made longer than interdigitated width of finger electrodes of each of parallel resonators at other stages.

Abstract: A telephone apparatus includes a telephone set consisting of a base unit and a handset removably mounted on the base unit. The apparatus also includes a transmitter/receiver, and an adaptor on which the base unit is mounted. The adaptor has an electrical connector which is electrically connected to the transmitter/receiver. The adaptor includes a main body which supports the electrical connector, and a slide member which includes a cover housing. The slide member, including the housing, is mounted on the main body for sliding movement between a first position, in which the connector is exposed for connection to the telephone set, and a second position in which the housing covers the electrical connector to protect it from dust and inadvertent impact. The main body and the slide member jointly support the telephone set with the connector connected to the telephone set, when the slide member is in the first position.
