  • Patent number: 7582246
Abstract: Provided is a transferring and molding method capable of forming a molded article on which a pattern is transferred in a prescribed position by automatically correcting a shift when there is produced a molded article on which the pattern is transferred with a shift. When the pattern of a molded article has a shift, the shift dimension and the shift direction of the pattern of the molded article are detected as digital values, and positional correction is carried out by automatically moving the transfer film by the detected shift dimension toward the side opposite from the detected shift direction. Thereafter, the pattern is transferred in the prescribed position of the molded article that has undergone the transferring, and molding is carried out.

  • Patent number: 4278111
Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing a slide fastener stringer including a woven stringer tape and a coiled fastener element woven into the tape along a longitudinal edge thereof. The apparatus comprises a plurality of harnesses for forming a shed of warp threads, a filling carrier for inserting a weft thread through the warp shed, a first reed for beating the weft thread in the shed against the fell of the tape, means for forming the coiled fastener element to be woven into the tape by the weft thread, and a second reed for beating successive coupling heads of the coiled fastener element one after another against a point which is in alignment with the fell of the tape. The second reed is operatively connected to the first reed so as to synchronize the beating action of the second reed with that of the first reed.

  • Patent number: 4100943
Abstract: A shuttle for ribbon looms comprises a housing and a bobbin rotatably supported in the housing for carrying a weft thread to be wound therearound. A tensioning device is provided in the housing for keeping the thread under constant tension while being unwound from the bobbin and running, the tensioning device including a frictionally rotatable roller around which the thread is wound, and means for adjusting the tension of the thread. A thread discharge eyelet is supported on the housing for discharging the thread therethrough out of the housing, the eyelet being located at the bottom of the housing and adjacent to the latter. The thread is directed from the bobbin through the tensioning device to the discharge eyelet.
