Abstract: An apparatus for evaluating a pointing device is provided in which time efficiency of a pointing device such as a mouse can be evaluated intuitively from a viewpoint of a user who uses a system. The apparatus displays a trajectory of a pointer on a screen based on a movement of the pointer on the screen in accordance with data input from the pointing device, and evaluates the time efficiency of the pointing device based on whether the pointer has moved along a predetermined graphic as an index.

Abstract: A camera control method includes the steps of performing at least one of a panning operation, a tilting operation, and a zoom-in operation using a first camera of at least two cameras, and performing at least one of a panning operation, a tilting operation, and a zoom-out operation using a second camera of the at least two cameras so that a portion of a blind spot or an entire blind spot generated due to at least one of the panning operation, the tilting operation, and the zoom-in operation performed using the first camera is included in a region captured using the second camera.
