  • Patent number: 9123163
Abstract: A medical image display apparatus includes an image obtainment unit configured to obtain a first image and a second image of a subject generated based on volume data, a base line setting unit configured to set a base line in the first image obtained by the image obtainment unit, an image division unit configured to divide, based on the base line that has been set in the first image by the base line setting unit, the second image into two divided images, and a display control unit configured to display the two divided images, which have been divided by the image division unit, on the first image at a display device in such a manner that the two divided images are away from the base line by a predetermined distance.

  • Patent number: 8744151
Abstract: A CPR image that represents a range corresponding to at least a portion of a blood vessel is generated from volume data obtained by imaging, and arranged in a predetermined region of a display screen. Band shaped condition display regions are arranged outside the predetermined region such that they are parallel to the blood vessel represented by the CPR image. Index values, such as stenosis rates and whether plaque is present, are calculated by analyzing the volume data. The calculated index values are converted to colors (RGB values) by referring to a conversion table. The condition display regions are displayed in colors according to the values of the index values.

  • Publication number: 20120184545
Abstract: The present invention relates to an agent which slows down the heart rate which has an excellent controlling ability in diagnostic imaging comprising a short-acting ?-blocker (e.g. landiolol hydrochloride or esmolol hydrochloride). The short-acting ?-blocker has a property of slowing down the heart rate and it can temporarily suppress the tachycardia at diagnosis. According to the dose and the method of administration, it can control the period for the heart rate adjustment. Also, the present invention relates to a diagnostic imaging auxiliary comprising a short-acting ?-blocker as active ingredient.

  • Patent number: 8094912
Abstract: Using first voxel data of a three-dimensional medical image obtained by photographing a subject, a functional image representing a function of a heart in at least one position is generated, and using a portion of second voxel data of a three-dimensional medical image obtained by photographing the subject corresponding to an area which includes a blood vessel along an outer myocardial wall of the heart, a morphological image depicting morphology of the blood vessel is generated. Then, the functional image and the morphological image are displayed in a superimposing manner such that at least one position of the heart in the functional image corresponds to at least one position of the heart in the morphological image.
