  • Publication number: 20150274142
Abstract: [Problem] To provide a brake pedal device which is easily attached by one worker and an attachment method thereof. [Solution] A brake pedal device includes: a master cylinder (10) which holds a push rod (14) for generating a brake liquid pressure; a pedal box (20) which rotatably and axially supports a brake pedal (21) to a bracket portion (22); and a fixed portion (30) which is fixable to a dash panel (40), provided with a penetration hole (40A) through which the master cylinder is insertable, from a vehicle interior. Here, the master cylinder, the pedal box, and the fixed portion form an assembly in which these members are integrally connected to one another by connecting the push rod to the brake pedal, and the assembly is fixable to the dash panel from the vehicle interior in a manner such that the fixed portion is fixed to the dash panel from the vehicle interior while at least a part of the master cylinder in the axial direction is inserted through the penetration hole.

  • Patent number: 8863614
Abstract: The invention is characterized in that, when protrusion parts 30 are raised from a substrate W and the protrusion parts 30 are formed into spacers 12 with a predetermined outer diameter D and height H, the protrusion parts 30 are temporarily formed so as to have a diameter larger than a predetermined outer diameter D and a height larger than a predetermined height H, and the protrusion parts 30 are crushed, and leading end portions 30b of the protrusion parts 30 are protruded in a radially outward direction so as to have a double-layered structure, and then through-holes 35 are opened at the leading end portions 30b. Accordingly, the leading end portions 30b have strength due to a double-layered structure, and side portions 30a also have high strength due to contraction by pressing, whereby the sleeve-integrated member includes the entirely high-strength spacers 12.

  • Patent number: 5255570
Abstract: A shift-lock device has a locking member associated with a projection member to engage with the locking member for establishing locking engagement. One of the locking member and the projection member is rigidly connected to a selector of an automatic power transmission and the other is rigidly secured to a stationary member in the vehicular body. The locking member is normally and resiliently biased toward locking direction for establishing locking engagement with the projection member. The locking member is associated with a lock release actuator which is electrically operable and active for a predetermined period only when a predetermined safety condition is established.

  • Patent number: 5156061
Abstract: A bell crank lever is used to operatively interconnect a transmission control cable with a shift lever. The bell crank lever is pivoted about an axis which is located at essentially the same level but separate from the axis about which the shift lever is pivotal. Connection between the shift lever and the bell crank lever is achieved by means of a pin which projects from one side of a shaft which forms part of a detent mechanism, and an elongate slot formed in one end of the bell crank lever. The bell crank lever is pivotally mounted on a plate which forms part of the detent mechanism and in which detent recesses are formed. This facilitates the accurate assembly of the device. Further, as the bell crank lever is pivoted at substantially the same height as the pivot shaft of the shift lever and arranged above the bottom wall of the base bracket, a lever effect equal to that of the conventional construction is achieved.

  • Patent number: 5015807
Abstract: An intermediate lever is additionally disposed between the position pin of the shift lever shifted to Park-position and the Park-position detecting switch. Therefore, even if the axial stroke of the position pin along the shift lever at Park-position changes according to the models of the shift lever apparatus, it is possible to use in common the same standardized Park-position detecting switch by changing the shape or dimensions of only the intermediate lever, thus reducing the parts stock or maintenance cost thereof. Further, it is also possible to mount the switch at any desired position away from the pin locating cutout formed in the shift lever support frame.
