  • Patent number: 5537127
Abstract: An image monitor system console includes upper and lower stage monitor units accommodated within a console body and arranged in a vertical state, the monitor units being connected to each other to be relatively tiltable and each of the monitor units including a multiple monitors for displaying images and an inclination angle changing assembly being operatively connected to the monitor units for changing vertical inclination angles of the monitor units in a direction towards observers sitting and/or standing in front of the system console. The inclination angle changing assembly includes a tilting mechanism for changing inclination angles of the monitor units and an operating mechanism for operating the tilting mechanism. In one aspect, only the upper monitor unit is tiltable with respect to the observers to an angle within an arrowable range for observation. In another aspect, the monitor units are together moved vertically along rails while changing the inclination angles with respect to the observers.

  • Patent number: 5129397
Abstract: An ultrasonic diagnosing apparatus includes a main body, an ultrasonic probe with a a cable, an expansive support portion, a horizontal arm, a table, and a lever, and a display unit. One end of the support portion is attached to the main body. One end of the horizontal arm is attached to the other end of the support portion. The horizontal arm includes a rotating mechanism for horizontally rotating about the support portion and a mechanism for locking and unlocking the rotating mechanism. A portion of the table is attached to the other end of the horizontal arm. The table includes a pivot mechanism for horizontally pivoting about the horizontal arm and a mechanism for locking and unlocking the pivot mechanism. The lever is arranged on the table so as to bias the locking and unlocking mechanism. The display unit is arranged on the table through a mechanism for allowing it to be tilted.

  • Patent number: 4491137
Abstract: An adaptor for a cannula guide type ultrasonic transducer probe which guides a cannula along a cavity of the ultrasonic transducer probe and which holds a bag covering said probe in position which comprise a guide unit having a substantially trapezoidal back plate and a pair of side plates, said back plate having a shape complementary to the shape of a back wall of said cavity, and said pair of side plates being integrally formed with said back plate along two sides thereof; and a band unit mounted such that upper and lower free ends thereof respectively extend from upper and lower ends of said back plate, said upper and lower free ends of said band unit having engaging means, respectively.

  • Patent number: 4489730
Abstract: An ultrasonic transducer probe for connection to ultrasonic diagnostic imaging apparatus for guiding a cannula into proper position for insertion into an objective region of the body of a patient under examination comprises a block-like carrier whose application surface is to be brought into contact with the body the carrier having a plurality of transducer elements equidistantly arranged in at least in one row across the application surface of the carrier, and having a wedge-shaped cavity extending laterally across the carrier diverging from a slot dividing the row of transducer elements into the surface opposite the application surface, and a cannula guide adapter dimensioned to fit within the cavity of the carrier detachably, the adapter being selectably reversible in the cavity and having channels in the lateral sides aligned with the slot for forming cannula guide paths radiating outward therefrom when the adapter is fitted into the cavity.

  • Patent number: 4215585
Abstract: An ultrasonic scanner, comprising a holder for supporting the ultrasonic probe, said holder being rotatably pivoted by a pivoting shaft, a rotating shaft whose axis is perpendicular to the axis of the pivoting shaft pivoting the holder, and a motion-converting mechanism for converting the rotation of the rotating shaft to a rotatingly reciprocating motion of the ultrasonic probe holder. The ultrasonic scanner can be made small in size, is capable of freely adjusting the rotatingly reciprocating motion, i.e. the head-shaking motion of the ultrasonic probe, and permits readily detecting the rotation angle of the rotating shaft. In addition, the scanner can be housed satisfactorily in a sealed vessel filled with a transmission medium of the ultrasonic beam.
