    Abstract: Relates to a blind, comprising a head box, an operating rod dropped from one side of the head box, an angle control shaft in the head box which is driven to rotate by the operating rod, a multiplicity of slats controlled for angle by rotations of the angle control shaft, a slat angle controller having a gear mechanism provided between the operating rod and the angle control shaft, the gear mechanism comprising a first gear shaft extending diagonally in section of the head box, a second gear shaft extending longitudinally of the head box, and gears coupling the first and second gear shafts.
