    Abstract: A plastic fastener comprising a head portion to be contacted with a given panel, a leg portion to be inserted through a fitting hole bored in the panel, a plurality of fin-like engaging projections disposed in the stepped manner in the direction of the length on the outer surface of the leg portion is improved so as to be inserted in its correct posture through the fitting hole and brought into fast attachment without any play to the panel. The improvement is accomplished by providing the leg portion with at least two guide ridges having at each terminal edge thereof an engaging ridge.

    Abstract: A cable clip of a construction such that the attachment thereof to a given panel is accomplished by inserting the clip into the larger of two sized holes, moving the clip to the smaller of the two holes via an intermediate path connecting the two sized holes, and thereafter rotating the clip within the smaller hole is disclosed. The clip is improved so as to be prevented from being unexpectedly rotated backward within the smaller hole and slipped off the fitting hole by means of one or more rotation-regulating pieces which keep the clip in the state of fast attachment to the panel.

    Abstract: In a screw grommet of the type composed of a head portion, a barrel portion extended downwardly from the head portion, and a continuous axial cavity through the head portion and the barrel portion and possessed of an inside diameter smaller than the diameter of screw means destined to be driven into the cavity, the barrel portion is provided thereon with angular portions which are adapted to match to the corners in a polygonal fitting hole punched in a panel for insertion of the grommet and are connected through the medium of hinges to the remaining part of the barrel portion. In the screw grommet, the force generated by the screw means being driven into the axial cavity inside the barrel portion causes the angular portions of the barrel portion to be outwardly expanded and pressed against the corners of the fitting hole without being rotated with the screw means, enabling the grommet to be secured strongly to the panel.

    Abstract: Disclosed is the improvement in a plastic screw socket which comprises a flange designed to be brought into contact with one surface of a given panel and a leg extending perpendicularly from the lower surface of the flange and adapted to be inserted through a matched perforation bored in advance in the panel, the flange and the leg being jointly provided therein with a through hole pierced vertically therethrough from the upper surface of the flange to the lower end of the leg, the leg being divided into two opposed segments by two slits inserted longitudinally therein from the lower end of the leg upwardly, whereby the insertion of a screw from above the flange into the through hole causes the leg to bulge outwardly and consequently come into tight engagement with the inner wall of the perforation in the panel.
