The storage has a plurality of ports which may differ in data transfer speed, and memory resources connected to these ports. Data transmission between a port and a server is monitored. If the amount of data transfer exceeds prescribed limits, then a different port is selected, and that port is used for further communications.

Abstract: Before each content file is recorded first to a recording medium, a flag indicating a recording state of a content file is generated corresponding to a physical area where an index file can be continuously recorded. An index file is generated which associates attribute information with the generated flag added thereto with real data of each content file, and the generated index file is recorded to the recording medium. Since fragmentation of the physical area where the index file is recorded is restrained to a minimum level, a high-speed reading operation is realized.

Abstract: A method for making document information searches. In performing a document search with respect to the desired key word, two stages of presearch are carried out. In a first stage of presearch, a character component table in which an existence of character codes for every document is stated with respect to all the character codes contained in the group of document text data of stored documents is generated, and the character component table is searched for all the character strings constituting a desiredly designated search subject key word to thereby extract all the documents each containing all the character codes constituting the search subject key word. In a second stage of presearch, contracted text data for every document in which adjuncts and duplication of repeatedly stated words contained in advance in the text data are eliminated is generated, and the documents each containing the search subject key words by word are extracted from the documents extracted by the first presearch.

Abstract: A foamed pad material for low-pressure compression molding which comprises a crosslinked rubbery olefinic soft resin foam and exhibits (a) a hysteresis loss of not greater than 40%, (b) a gel fraction of 20 to 98%, and (c) a density of 0.025 to 0.30 g/cm.sup.3. This foamed pad material is excellent in heat weldability with core forming materials and exhibits excellent heat resistance, strain resistance, moldability and restoring properties at the time of low-pressure compression molding at which compression and drawing are carried out at high temperatures. Moreover, the foamed pad material can allow the molded skin material to have cushioning properties with high flexibility and further to have improved feeling.

The spontaneously-firing explosive composition has a spontaneous firing property in temperature range of either 165.degree.-220.degree. C. or 165.degree.-200.degree. C. The effective temperature range may be selected as needed.
