  • Patent number: 8625957
Abstract: A reproduction apparatus is disclosed. A display section displays a screen. A reproduction section reproduces a video signal recorded on a record medium. A display control section selects one of three display screens. A first display screen displays a picture corresponding to an externally input video signal or a video signal that is reproduced by the reproduction section and information about the video signal in different areas. A second display screen displays setup states of a plurality of keys as a key set that are capable of selecting a plurality of functions, and a picture corresponding to an externally input video signal or corresponding to a video signal that is reproduced by the reproduction section in different areas. A third display screen displays only a picture corresponding to an externally input video signal or corresponding to a video signal that is reproduced by the reproduction section.

  • Patent number: 7949232
Abstract: An input apparatus that inputs a reproduction speed of a video signal is disclosed. The input apparatus has a position detection section and a control section. The position detection section linearly detects a position that a user's finger has touched. The control section detects a moving speed of the user's finger that has touched the position detection section corresponding to a first position and a second position detected by the position detection section and outputs reproduction speed information corresponding to the moving speed. After the first position has been detected and a predetermined time period has elapsed, the second position is detected by the position detection section.

  • Publication number: 20070035652
Abstract: An input apparatus that has a position detection section, a thumbnail picture generation section, a process section, and a selection section is disclosed. The position detection section linearly detects a position that a user's finger has touched. The thumbnail picture generation section generates a thumbnail picture corresponding to a video signal. The process section displays a plurality of thumbnail pictures generated by the thumbnail picture generation section on one screen. The selection section selects one of the plurality of thumbnail pictures displayed on the screen corresponding to the position detected by the position detection section.
