Abstract: This invention relates to a mouse with deficiency of gene of neutrophil chemotactic factor LECT2 having a function of lacking by deleting a whole or a part LECT2 gene or inserting other gene such as a selective marker gene to any portion of the LECT2 gene or replacing it with another gene(s).

Abstract: A pharmaceutical preparation for ameliorating nonulcer dyspepsia (NUD) or epigastric dysfunction complaints is provided. The present invention uses an aminobenzamide compound represented by the following formula (1) or a salt thereof: ##STR1## wherein each of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 is independently a lower alkoxyl group; R.sup.3 is a hydrogen atom, a lower acyl group, a lower alkyl group, a lower alkoxycarbonyl group or a group represented by a formula --X--SO.sub.3 M where X is a lower alkylene group and M is an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal; R.sup.4 is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a lower alkoxyl group; R.sup.5 is an amino group, a morpholino group or a lower alkylamino group, where the alkyl moiety of the lower alkylamino group may have a hydroxyl group; and n is an integer of 1 to 6.

Abstract: Aminobenzamide derivatives of the formula (I) ##STR1## wherein: R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each represents a lower alkoxy group,R.sub.3 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a lower acyl group, a lower alkoxycarbonyl group or --R.sub.5 --SO.sub.3 Z, wherein R.sub.5 represents a lower alkylene group and Z represents an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal,R.sub.4 represents an amino group, a morpholino group or a lower alkylamino group which may be substituted with a hydroxyl group at the alkyl moiety thereof, with the proviso that, when R.sub.3 represents a hydrogen atom, R.sub.4 cannot be an amino group,Y represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a lower alkoxy group,n represents an integer of from 1 to 6,and salts thereof; are disclosed. These compounds have excellent anti-peptic ulcer activities, and chemical and physical stabilities.

Abstract: N-phenethylacetamide compounds of the formula: ##STR1## wherein X.sub.1 represents a lower alkoxy group, X.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkoxy group and R represents a phenyl group, a pyridyl group, a pyrimidinyl group or a benzoyl group, each of which may have one or more substituents selected from a halogen atom, a carbamoyl group, a lower alkoxy group, a sulfamoyl group, an amino group, a lower alkylamino group, a lower alkylthio group, a hydroxy group and a lower alkoxycarbonyl group; the parmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts and hydrates thereof; as well as the process for preparing such compounds and salts and hydrates thereof; the compounds, their salts and their hydrates having a distinct anti-peptic ulcer activity in human and animals.

Abstract: Compounds having the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is phenyl or cycloalkyl and the phenyl may have at least one substituent selected from the group consisting of lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, amino and nitro; R.sub.2 is hydrogen or lower alkyl; A is --CH.sub.2 O-- or --CH.sub.2 CH(O-lower alkyl)-; n is zero (0) or one (1); when R.sub.1 together with (A).sub.n is unsubstituted phenyl, R.sub.2 is lower alkyl; and R.sub.3 is hydrogen or lower alkoxy, have anti-ulcerous action.
