  • Patent number: 4896219
Abstract: A color video signal reproducing apparatus for reproducing a color video signal from a recording medium on which at least luminance and chrominance signals are recorded in the form of a multiplexed signal is arranged to reproduce the multiplexed signal from the recording medium; to separate the luminance and chrominance signals from the reproduced multiplexed signal; and to demodulate and convert the chrominance signal into a plurality of different base-band signals. This arrangement permits a correcting operation to be accomplished on the color information of the reproduced color video signal wihtout deteriorating the color information with simple structural arrangement.

  • Patent number: 4882632
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a reproducing apparatus for reproducing a composite signal from a record bearing medium on which said composite signal is recorded, said composite signal being formed by frequency multiplexing a frequency-modulated luminance signal and a low-band converted carrier chrominance signal which is obtained by frequency-converting a carrier chrominance signal from a high frequency band to a low frequency band. The recording apparatus is constructed to separate the frequency-modulated luminance signal and the low-band converted carrier chrominance signal from the composite signal reproduced from said record bearing medium, to demodulate the frequency-modulated luminance signal to restore the luminance signal, to convert the low-band converted carrier chrominance signal into two kinds of color difference signals and to form R, G and B signals from the luminance signal and the two kinds of color-difference signals thus obtained.

  • Patent number: 4878128
Abstract: A video signal reproducing apparatus having a video camera part which produces a video signal by picking up an image of an object and is arranged in one unified body at least with a reproducing part which reproduces a video signal from a reducing medium is arranged to selectively supply the video signal obtained by picking up the object's image or the reproduced video signal obtained from the recording medium to one and the same signal processing means. The disclosed arrangement not only permits simplification of the apparatus but also enables the apparatus to reproduce a high quality video signal.

  • Patent number: 4803684
Abstract: A data processing device for processing a data sequence obtained by sampling an information signal, is arranged to compute a plurality of data before and/or after an incorrect data amoung the data sequence, to have data obtained by rounding up or rounding off the results of computation at about the same rate, and to replace the incorrect data with the computed data.

  • Patent number: 4763293
Abstract: A data processing device of the kind handling a sequence of data obtained by sampling an analog information signal to process each of the data to compute two correct data included in the data sequence; to generate by this computation at least two new data which differ from each other; and to replace an incorrect data located between two correct data within the data sequence with one of the selected new data.

  • Patent number: 4696008
Abstract: A data storing device in which output data of a counter, which counts synchronizing data in a plurality of transmitted data blocks, and address data in the blocks are selectively outputted by detecting errors in the blocks, and the storing position in a memory is determined on the basis of the selected output data.

  • Patent number: 4675867
Abstract: A data processing device for processing data including a first data sequence indicative of the amplitude of an information signal and a second data sequence each data of which indicates the error rate of each data of the first data sequence. When each data of the second data sequence continuously shows a high error rate of a consecutive number of data of the first data sequence more than a predetermined number, the device generates data of values which are 1/a.sup.k (wherein "k" represents an integer between 1 and "n"; "a" a real number larger than 1; and "n" an integer at least 2) of a data of the first data sequence which has a low error rate and is located before or after the consecutive high error rate data of the first data sequence. The device performs data processing for muting the information signal by using these data.
