  • Patent number: 7255873
Abstract: The invention is directed to a method for producing a fatty acid salt, the method comprising reacting a fatty acid with a metal oxide or a metal hydroxide by use of an extruder having at least a stock supply zone, a kneading/reaction zone, and a cooling zone. The invention provides a high-productivity, highly efficient method for continuously producing a fatty acid salt and a method for effectively producing a fatty acid salt having a high unsaturated fatty acid content and a low melting temperature.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 23, 2001
Date of Patent: August 14, 2007
    Assignee: Nichiyu Solution Incorporation
    Inventor: Masahide Nakata
  • Publication number: 20040001876
Abstract: Disclosed are a breeding method of a female pig for propagation characterized by feeding at least one lipid selected from a fatty acid having 12 to 24 carbon atoms which has a melting point falling in a range of −60 to 40° C. and an iodine value falling in a range of 30 to 470 and which has 2 to 6 double bonds in a molecule, a triglyceride containing the above fatty acid and a metal salt of the above fatty acid, and a feed for a female pig for propagation containing the above lipid in a proportion of 0.5 to 10 % by weight in terms of the fatty acid described above.
    Type: Application
    Filed: June 23, 2003
    Publication date: January 1, 2004

According to the breeding method of a female pig for propagation of the present invention, breeding results can be elevated by further increasing a litter size, allowing the number of delactation to grow large, shortening the days of returning estrus and increasing an annual average delivery frequency.

  • Patent number: 5700396
Abstract: A cosmetic composition and an emulsion composition respectively comprising 0.1 to 99 weight % of an oily component and 99.9 to 1 weight % of a watery component are are provided and the oily component in the compositions comprises 85 or more weight % of cis-.DELTA.9-octadecenoic acid or derivatives thereof and contains 90 weight % or more of a cis-.DELTA.9-alkenoic acid or derivatives thereof and 10 weight % or less of fatty acids other than the cis-.DELTA.9-alkenoic acid, derivatives thereof or other oily components. The cosmetic composition showing superior feeling in use and superior storage stability than conventional products and the emulsion composition showing superior stability of emulsion than conventional products can be provided because the oily component contains cis-.DELTA.9-octadecenoic acid or derivatives thereof in a high concentration.
