    Abstract: A vehicle notification apparatus includes: a positioning sensor detecting a position of the vehicle and a microprocessor. The microprocessor performs: acquiring a position data of an emergency vehicle; notifying an approach information of the emergency vehicle; and determining whether the emergency vehicle is approaching the vehicle based on the position of the vehicle detected by the positioning sensor and the acquired position data. The microprocessor performs further determining whether a notification of the approach information is permitted based on a command transmitted from the emergency vehicle, and when it is determined that the emergency vehicle is approaching the vehicle and that the notification of the approach information is permitted, notifying an occupant of the approach information, while when it is determined that the notification of the approach information is not permitted, not notifying the approach information.
