  • Publication number: 20060141240
Abstract: To provide an interior component that partly includes a laminated assembly and a manufacturing method thereof that prevent flattening of pile of a decorative member in press molding to improve appearance. A door trim includes a laminated assembly (door trim upper portion) including a resin foam substrate that is light in weight and has a shape-holding property, a resin rib integrally laminated on a rear surface of the resin foam substrate, and a decorative member attached to a front surface of the resin foam substrate, and a resin molding (door trim lower portion). For the laminated assembly, a resin form sheet heated and softened and the decorative member that is not heated or is heated at a low temperature are placed into a forming die assembly in an laminated manner and integrated by a low pressing pressure, thereby preventing flattening of pile or thermal deformation of the decorative member, ensuring satisfactory moldability, and reducing a molding load in molding.

  • Patent number: 6495328
Abstract: A substrate for detecting base sequences that comprises a transparent support, a thin metal film formed on one side of the transparent support, and a self-assembled monolayer with a nonionic aromatic compound being an intercalator of nucleic acid polymers dispersed over the surface formed on the metal film. The substrate is manufactured, for example, by immersing a transparent support with a thin gold film formed on one side in a solution that contains a disulfide (S—S) compound containing anthracene for the intercalator of nucleic acid polymers form on the metal film. A nucleic acid polymer (probe or target) is immobilized to the monolayer of the substrate, another nucleic acid polymer (target or probe) is hybridized to the nucleic acid polymer immobilized to the monolayer, and the results of the hybridization can be detected by the Surface Plasmon Resonance method after washing.

  • Patent number: 6317237
Abstract: An infrared laser beam (B1) is irradiated from a transmitter (100) toward a window pane (410) of a building (400), and a reflected laser beam (B2) is received by a receiver (200). A laser spot (Q) picked up by a CCD camera is displayed on respective target display units (113, 213). Within the receiver, there are provided a photo-cell for outputting an electric signal corresponding to light energy of the reflected beam, and a knife edge for shielding a portion of the reflected beam. Vibrational component of the window pane caused by voice in the room is detected as a positional change of the reflected beam. In determining an installation place of the receiver, a beam detector (300) comprised of a large number of light receiving elements is used to detect the reflected beam. The transmitter scans an object with the laser beam (B1) modulated by an audible frequency so that the reflected beam (B2) is easily detected.
