  • Patent number: 8676791
Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, for providing assistance in detecting mistranslation in a translated document obtained by performing machine translation of an original document. A word included in the translated document is obtained. Search results are obtained of searching both a first document data group and a second document data group including the first document data group for pieces of document data related to the obtained word. Based on the obtained search results, an index is generated. The index indicates the adequacy of the obtained word as a translated word in a field corresponding to the first document data group. The generated index is output.

  • Patent number: 8131808
Abstract: The present invention enables accurate detection of risks from an electronic mail message. In a mail inspection unit, an information extraction section extracts text and a mail address from electronic mail accumulated in a journal DB, and a text normalization section normalizes the text. A sort-information saving section generates text sort information according to the score obtained from a sorting engine, and stores it in a mail-management-information storage section. A personal-information saving section extracts personal information from a personal-information storage section according to the mail address, and stores it in the mail-management-information storage section. Finally, a risk-level determination section compares the information stored in the mail-management-information storage section with the information stored in a category-information storage section to determine the risk level of the electronic mail.

  • Patent number: 7546315
Abstract: A device, method, and program for automatically reporting a software problem for a reproducing procedure and determining a place where a problem occurred in global user environments. Data including various types of messages assigned to individual languages is extracted from resource files of software that is used in international environments, and the data, together with additional attributes, is stored as a database in a form in which correspondences between languages are defined. Processing including translation of texts and translation of image data is performed for a problem reproductive scenario, a problem report, a screen shot, and other functions using the resource database prepared in the first step. The individual processing functions are organically linked to existing problem management tools. Thus, it enables switching of the language of data at appropriate time when data is exchanged in the software support operation.
