  • Patent number: 8652370
Abstract: A hot isostatic pressing method is disclosed wherein workpieces are accommodated within a high pressure vessel and the interior of the high pressure vessel is filled with an inert gas of a high temperature and a high pressure to treat the workpieces. The method includes a cooling step which is performed after maintaining the interior of the high pressure vessel at a high temperature and a high pressure for a predetermined time and in which a liquid inert gas is fed into the high pressure vessel. According to this method it is possible to shorten the cycle time of an HIP apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20080169142
Abstract: An engine, a cooling fan and a heat exchanger are disposed within an engine room covered with a cover member, while an intake chamber is formed on an intake side of the heat exchanger. A first intake port is formed in an upper chamber wall of the intake chamber and a duct is disposed on a front face side of a heat exchanger core surface in the intake chamber. In a cooling structure of a construction machine which premises the above construction, a front face portion of the duct is inclined in a direction in which the sectional area of an intake passage formed between the duct front face portion and a side face portion of the cover member becomes maximum at the upper portion and decreases gradually toward the lower portion, and a second intake port is formed in a lower half of the front face portion.

  • Publication number: 20040079119
Abstract: A reaction chamber including a reaction chamber in which preform is formed is provided. A cladding burner for forming a cladding of the preform is arranged in the reaction chamber, and a blocking member for suppressing ascending of the air in the reaction chamber is provided above the cladding burner. With this arrangement, abrupt flame-up of a flame containing glass particles produced through the burner is suppressed, the productivity of a preform is improved by accelerated formation of a preform, and the amount of glass particles which may adhere to a wall of the reaction chamber is reduced.
