  • Patent number: 5184308
Abstract: A logic circuit to be an object for fault simulation is logically modified into a logic circuit configuration using logic gates of a predetermined basic gate form. Pin management data indicative of a correspondence of pins of the logic gates to a position of fault assumption of each of the pins prior to logic modification is formed. Logic simulation is then performed by injecting a fault logic value into the position of fault assumption of each of the pins of the gate of the logic circuit subsequent to the logic modification corresponding to each of the pins prior to the logic modification with reference to the pin management data, thereby implementing a fault simulation for detecting the fault of the logic circuit.

  • Patent number: 5010493
Abstract: A load distribution method in which loads are divided into groups and each of a plurality of input pins of integrated circuits of a load is wired continuously with one stroke of a signal transmission line in a sequence from a driving output pin in each group when the wiring for distributing the drive signal from the driving output pin of an integrated circuit to plural input pins of integrated circuits, functioning as a load, is such that a plurality of intergrated circuits are mounted at given positions on a printed circuit board. In the load distribution method, the load is divided into groups by equally distributing a number of the loads so as to allow load capacities to be equal to each other on each of a plurality of signal transmission lines, and there is computed a signal propagation delay time of the signal transmission line wired equally in a distance to a load which is equal in a wiring sequence from the driving output pin in each group.

  • Patent number: 4969765
Abstract: A mechanical marking pen is disclosed. The marking pen includes a cylinder and a holder element axially and movably engaged with one end of the cylinder. A pen point is removably attached to the cylinder and is slidably fitted concentrically in the holder element so as to project from the holder element to permit a length of projection to be adjusted. There is an ink reservoir contained in the cylinder for storing ink. An ink guide core is provided to connect the pen point and ink reservoir to allow the transfer of ink to the pen point. There is an element concentric with the pen point, for receiving and transferring writing pressure from the pen point. Finally, an element is mounted concentric with the pen point and is engaged with the receiving and transferring element. This element accepts writing pressure from the transferring means to prevent the ink guide core from bearing pressure from the pen point.

  • Patent number: 4408921
Abstract: A marking pen containing a head seat member which is adapted to be readily engaged with a shaft tube, whereby the tip member of the marking pen can be exchanged and the extrusion length of the top part of the tip member can be adjusted. On the outer surface of an engaging tube of the head seat member is positioned a projection structure abutting against the top portion of the inner surface of the shaft tube, thereby preventing the head seat member from becoming loose under pressure applied from any direction during marking. In the head seat member the engaging tube is provided with one or more axially elongated slits extending substantially to the end thereof so that the engaging tube is adapted to be deformed by means of the slit, the deformation preventing the engaging tube from engaging the shaft tube too tightly, thereby permitting the smooth axial movement of the head seat member and the easy fine adjustment of the extrusion length of the top part of the tip member.

  • Patent number: 4384178
Abstract: A distributor containing an apparatus for suppressing noise is disclosed. The distributor is comprised of a rotor and a plurality of stationary terminals, wherein a hollow insulating member is introduced into a discharging air gap formed between a discharging electrode of the rotor and each of discharging electrodes of the stationary terminals. Thereby, a spark discharge, occurring between the discharging electrodes of the rotor and each said stationary terminal, is generated via a through hole formed inside the hollow insulating member.

  • Patent number: 4357117
Abstract: A nib holder for a fine molded nib in a writing instrument is disclosed. The nib holder has an internal passageway into which the nib may be inserted and held by an abrasive ring or by projections, the nib being held without substantial deformation thereof. The nib holder includes a screw threaded portion which cooperates with mating screw threads on the casing of the writing implement. The nib holder may be screwed into the casing until the end of the nib contacts a fixed ink conducting core. Therefore, as the nib holder is screwed into the casing, the nib is forced out of the passage in the holder for compensating for wear of the nib. A cooperating prong and detent on the casing and nib holder control the rotation of the nib holder with respect to the casing.
