  • Patent number: 10559841
Abstract: There is provided a fuel cell comprising a cell stacked body and a case configured to surround at least stacked body side faces of the cell stacked body. The case comprises a first case configured to include a first case side wall and a pair of first opposed side walls that are arranged to rise from a circumference of the first case side wall such as to have a draft angle; and a second case configured to include a second case side wall and a pair of second opposed side walls that are arranged to rise from a circumference of the second case side wall such as to have a draft angle. A first edge of each of the first opposed side walls is joined with a second edge of each of the second opposed side walls. This configuration suppresses size expansion of the fuel cell.

  • Patent number: 8226532
Abstract: A control apparatus for an automatic transmission having a rotation transmission mechanism for transmitting rotation of a prime mover mounted on a vehicle to a speed change mechanism, and an input clutch for controlling connection/disconnection of the transmitted rotation. The control apparatus includes a control portion that performs a neutral control including a release control that reduces rotation transmission efficiency, and an in-neutral control so as to maintain rotation efficiency. During the in-neutral control, a check control is performed that makes the fluid pressure relative to the input clutch fluctuate, and when determining as a result of the check control that the rotation transmission efficiency is in a predetermined low efficiency state, then reducing the fluid pressure relative to the input clutch by a set pressure, and thereafter maintaining the fluid pressure constant.

  • Patent number: 8005342
Abstract: A digital camera includes a signal processing circuit. The signal processing circuit makes signal processing on the camera data read from a camera data area of an SDRAM to produce YUV data for record. A thin-out circuit makes a thin-out processing on the recording YUV data to produce YUV data for display. The display YUV data and the recording YUV data thus produced are written respectively to a display data area and a recording data area of the SDRAM and thereafter processed for display on a display and record to a flash memory. The access speed to SDRAM is 48 MHz and the processing speed of the signal processing circuit and thin-out circuit is 12 MHz. Consequently, the YUV data for display and YUV data for record is written concurrently with reading out of the camera data.

  • Publication number: 20090062067
Abstract: An excessive oil temperature increase prevention device for a torque converter of an automatic transmission is provided wherein, if the per-unit-time heating value of the torque converter becomes greater than or equal to an upper limit value, then the automatic transmission is downshifted and an upshift is inhibited. An expected input shaft speed and an expected input torque after the upshift are calculated. An expected speed ratio and an expected capacity coefficient are also calculated. A per-unit-time expected heating value after the upshift is calculated using the expected input shaft speed, the expected speed ratio, and the expected capacity coefficient. When the per-unit-time expected heating value becomes less than or equal to a lower limit value, the inhibition of the upshift is cancelled.

  • Patent number: 6910433
Abstract: A push-up lever is rotatably supported on a sewing machine frame, and a coupling lever is coupled to the push-up lever. An oscillating shaft is rotatably supported on a bush, and the coupling lever is engaged with a part of the oscillating shaft. A presser base is coupled to a crank piece of the oscillating shaft, and a presser foot is fixed at its leading end. An elastic member engaged with the presser base. A bracket changeable in fixing position is supported on the back side of the sewing machine frame, and the bush is fixed in the bracket. The crank piece of the oscillating shaft is separable in two pieces, and the engaging faces of the two separated crank pieces are fixed anew when changing the fixing position of the bracket. Therefore, the circular track of the presser foot near the platform of the sewing machine bed can be changed easily, and an eccentric portion of the crank piece is not changed from an initial setting position.

  • Patent number: 6729251
Abstract: A thread taking-up tool is attached to a needle bar sticking out of a sewing machine head, and its leading end has a plurality of thread holes. The thread holes of the thread taking-up tool are arranged in the lateral direction. A thread handling body has a cam face in the vertical direction. Needle threads from a tension device to needles are controlled by the vertical motion of the thread taking-up tool and the action of the cam face of the thread handling body. When the needles ascend from the lowest position, an endless hook attached to the thread taking-up tool is engaged with the left needle thread between the cam face lower end and the thread hole of the thread taking-up tool. Each thread is handled in with the left needle thread staying at the cam face lower end, so that the needle thread loop at the remotest end is absorbed surely.

  • Patent number: 6661452
Abstract: A digital camera includes an SDRAM. The camera data taken is first written on a camera data area formed in the-SDRAM, and thereafter read out 8 lines a time. This 8-lines camera data is YUV-converted by a signal precessing circuit. The resulting 8-lines YUV data is stored in a work area of the SDRAM. A JPEG CODEC reads the YUV data block by block out of the work area, and compresses it. The compressed data is written block by block over the camera data area. At this time, the compressed data is written over in a manner. avoiding camera data uncompleted of compression. Such a process is repeated very 8 lines. If compressed data is obtained for all of the camera data stored within the camera data area, the compressed data is recorded at one time into a flash memory.

  • Patent number: 6390000
Abstract: In a double chainstitch sewing machine, a movable thread guide 37 is fixed to the lower end of a needle bar 1. A fixed thread guide 41 and a thread take-up cam 39 are fixed to a jaw 43a of a sewing machine arm 43. The thread take-up cam 39 has a cam section to be engaged with needle threads 51a, 51b from the fixed thread guide 41 to the movable thread guide 37, and takes up the needle threads oscillating up and down by vertical motion of the movable thread guide 37. Thread take-up members such as movable thread guide 37, fixed thread guide 41, and thread take-up cam 39 are disposed centrally at the lower end of the needle bar near the needle and in the jaw 43a of the sewing machine arm 43. As a result, there is no member for thread take-up moving at the upper side and front side of the sewing machine arm, and dangerous positions for the operator can be decreased.

  • Patent number: 6014494
Abstract: In tracing a tape with a signal recording head to form tracks having digital data recorded thereon, a plurality of tracks provide each of blocks, and a usual playback data area NA and trick playback areas TH and TL are arranged on each of the tracks included in each block. The trick playback areas are enlarged to provide increment areas TA with a decrease in the bit rate of usual playback data. In recording image data as to a plurality of programs on a tape conjointly, signal recording tracks are formed on the tape, and a usual playback data area and a trick playback data area are formed on each of the tracks or on one track per plurality of tracks, as arranged longitudinally of the track, whereby the image data as to programs A to D is conjointly recorded on the same tape.

  • Patent number: 5954006
Abstract: The apparatus of the invention is applied to a case of folding, for example, the sleeve cloth of short-sleeved T-shirt in half while conveying. A holding device grips the leading end of the cloth conveyed on a conveying surface of narrow conveyor belts, lifts the gripped leading end of the cloth from the conveying surface, and holds it above the conveying surface temporarily. A cloth stopping device stops conveying of the front side portion of the conveyed cloth on the conveying surface at a position of an upstream side in the conveying direction from the holding device. When cloths are put on the conveying surface by overlaying mutually in part, a space is formed between the preceding cloth and succeeding cloth by the cloth stopping device, so that the leading end of the cloth is gripped and lifted by the holding device.
