  • Patent number: 11430165
Abstract: A display control apparatus displays, when a map image is to be displayed on a display unit, together with the map image, information corresponding to a plurality of images associated with position information that indicates positions included in a predetermined range within a display range of the map image, and when a predetermined operation with respect to the image has been accepted through an operation unit, the control unit performs control to display an image corresponding to a relationship between a direction based on a first operation position and a second operation position of the predetermined operation and direction information associated with the plurality of images.

  • Patent number: 11323689
Abstract: An image processing device includes an imaging unit which captures an image of a subject, generates an image from a plurality of viewpoint images with different viewpoints, and displays the generated image on a display unit. A system control unit acquires a position designated using an operation unit by a user on a displayed image and detects a direction of a slide operation and an amount of movement from the designated position. An image processing unit acquires a plurality of pieces of viewpoint image data from the imaging unit and acquires distance information associated with a viewpoint image from a distance information acquisition unit. The image processing unit generates a viewpoint image if the viewpoint is moved in a direction opposite to the direction of the slide operation by the user on the basis of the plurality of viewpoint images.

  • Patent number: 9450006
Abstract: An image pickup element includes a first pixel, a second pixel, and a third pixel that share one microlens, a first boundary that is provided between the first pixel and the second pixel, and a second boundary that is provided between the first pixel and the third pixel, and when a charge amount of the first pixel is saturated, a first charge amount from the first pixel to the second pixel via the first boundary is larger than a second charge amount from the first pixel to the third pixel via the second boundary.

  • Patent number: 7675483
Abstract: A dynamic false contour reducing circuit which comprises a false contour detector, an error diffusion processing part, and a display controller. The false contour detector receives an input signal for displaying an image at a pixel of interest to detect a false contour magnitude at the pixel of interest when an image is displayed at the pixel of interest based on the input signal. The error diffusion processing part performs error diffusion processing for the input signal in a manner depending on the level of the false contour magnitude detected by the false contour detector. The display controller controls a display part such that an image is displayed based on the input signal which has undergone the error diffusion processing by the error diffusion processing part.

  • Patent number: 7102599
Abstract: A dynamic false contour detector identifies a pixel where a false contour is expected to be generated based on monotony of change in gradation level, an existence of carry/borrow of the subfields, and a position of a contour. Then, a pixel value switcher switches individual gradation levels among a plurality of pixels including the pixel identified by the dynamic false contour detector. As a result, it is achieved to reduce degradation of image quality due to the dynamic false contour with a simple structure and processes.

  • Publication number: 20040252140
Abstract: An apparatus for displaying images at multiple gray scales, when each of pixels in image is displayed based on image signals having a certain number of bits, defines a field with a plurality of sub-fields each having a weighted brightness, to establish a desired gray scale. The apparatus includes a signal-arrangement changer which changes arrangement of a part of bit signals among bit signals constituting an image signal, in a plurality of pixels. The apparatus displays images, based on image signals, after the arrangement has been changed by the signal-arrangement changer.
