  • Publication number: 20080299455
Abstract: An electrode laminate unit 12 of an electric storage device 10 is composed of positive electrodes 14 and negative electrodes 15, which are alternately laminated, and a lithium electrode 16 is arranged at the outermost part of the electrode laminate unit 12 so as to oppose to the negative electrode 15. A charging/discharging unit 21 having first and second energization control units 21a and 21b is connected to a positive-electrode terminal 18, negative-electrode terminal 19, and a lithium-electrode terminal 20. Electrons are moved from the lithium electrode 16 to the positive electrode 14 through the first energization control unit 21a, and lithium ions are doped into the positive electrode 14 from the lithium electrode 16. Electrons are moved from the lithium electrode 16 to the negative electrode 15 through the second energization control unit 21b, and lithium ions are doped into the negative electrode 15 from the lithium electrode 16.

  • Publication number: 20080299459
Abstract: The ions other than a lithium ion and having a greater ion radius is interposed, before the lithium ion is doped, as an interlayer securing member in a vanadium oxide having a layered crystal into which the lithium ion can be doped. Since the interlayer securing member is interposed, the dope or dedope of the lithium ion into or from the vanadium oxide afterward can smoothly be performed. A sodium ion or the like can be employed as the interlayer securing member.

  • Patent number: 7408058
Abstract: A method of making an oxochlorin comprises the steps of oxidizing a chlorin to produce a mixture of hydronchlorin and oxochlorin, and then oxidizing the hydroxychlorin in said mixture, preferably with DDQ, to produce a mixture consisting essentially of oxochlorin. The step of oxidizing a chlorin is carried out by exposing the chlorin to alumina, typically in the presence of an oxidizing agent such as air or alumina. The oxidizing steps may be carried out in an organic solvent such as toluene. The chlorin is preferably a C-methylated chlorin, and is preferably metalated.

  • Publication number: 20080009994
Abstract: An object is to simplify the structure of electric wirings, and to facilitate installation. A vehicular motion quantity sensor and a steering angle sensor are installed in the same casing or mechanically connected directly with the casing. Therefore, it is possible to put together electrical wiring harnesses for transmitting the detection signals from the vehicular motion quantity sensor and the steering angle sensor to an ECU. Moreover, since all of the sensors can be located in the same compartment, the structure of the electrical wiring harnesses can be simplified and can be installed more easily.

  • Patent number: 7316457
Abstract: A motion control apparatus for a four-wheel drive vehicle performs over-steer suppressing control when the vehicle is in an over-steer state so as to apply a braking force to a front wheel located on the outer side of a turning locus without lowering engine output, and performs LSD control for the front/rear wheels when the obtained difference between wheel speeds of the left and right wheels exceeds an allowable limit so as to apply a braking force for suppressing idle rotation to the one of the left and right wheels that is of higher wheel speed. During execution of the over-steer suppression control, the braking force for suppressing front-wheel idle rotation to be imparted to the front wheel located on the inner side of the turning locus by means of the front-wheel-side LSD control is lowered, whereby the rear wheels become unlikely to produce excessive idle rotation.
