  • Publication number: 20090097064
Abstract: A printing apparatus which enables to efficiently improve the productivity of the printed matter and to efficiently supply the resource. It is determined whether a printing interrupting factor occurs regarding a job for which a printing process is performed. When it is determined that the printing interrupting factor occurs regarding the job, a subsequent job following the job is controlled to be performed in priority to the job. When the job, regarding which, it is determined that the printing interrupting factor occurs, is the job related to image quality adjustment, the subsequent job is restricted to be performed in priority to the job regarding which, it is determined that the printing interrupting factor occurs.

  • Patent number: 7148980
Abstract: An image forming system includes a server and client computers connected to a network, one or a plurality of image forming devices connected to either the network or the server, and devices of which one or a plurality can be connected to the server and which can be recognized by the server. The system holds the number of image forming devices set as output destinations, recognizes the presence of connected devices and the number thereof connected, and compares the number N of devices connected to the server that have been recognized and the number M of image forming devices already set as output destinations at the time of setting the image forming devices as output destinations. Thus, unauthorized use of image processing software operating on image forming devices for generating image data to be supplied to image forming devices, can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 6686034
Abstract: A new process for producing a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin molded product with a high mechanical strength and no heat substantial deterioration of the resin, by an efficient heating without applying shear stress to the fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin base material and a molded product, for example, a tiptoe core for a safety shoe produced by said process are provided. The fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin base material P1 in a string form or a tape form is scattered and accumulated in a vessel such as tube 11, and a heating gas passed to the accumulated base material to melt heat, and preferably press by a plunger 15, the base material P1, whereby a molten mass P2 is formed, and then the molten mass P2 is dislocated to a mold to be press-mold. Said base material preferably satisfies the following formula: {fraction (1/100)}≦&rgr;1/&rgr;0≦½, wherein &rgr;0 means a density where said base material is scattered and accumulated and &rgr;0 means a true density of said base material.

  • Patent number: 6005587
Abstract: An image processing apparatus has an adjusting mode which enables determination of a magnification correction value. A predetermined image on a test chart placed on an original table or an image of a chart fixed outside the valid image area are read, and the proper correction value for compensating for any variation in the image magnitude within a scanning system is computed based on the results of reading the test chart image. Subsequently, a printing system is operated to print test chart data read from a memory and the image printed in accordance with the test chart data is read by the scanner system which has been corrected, the result of the reading being used in computing the magnification correction value for compensating for any magnification variation occurring in the printer system.
