  • Publication number: 20050219544
Abstract: Provided is an optical image measuring apparatus capable of taking images of an object to be measured in plural depth regions in parallel. An optical image measuring apparatus of the present invention includes: a beam splitter (4) for dividing a light beam into signal light (S) and reference light (R); beam splitters (5-1 to 5-(n?1)) for dividing the reference light (R) into plural reference light beams (R1 to Rn); frequency shifters (6-1 to 6-n) for shifting frequencies of the reference light beams (R-1 to Rn) by different amounts; and reflector plates (7-1 to 7-n) arranged at different distances from an object to be measured (O). The reference light beams (R1 to Rn) and the signal light (S) reflected by the object to be measured in depth regions (D1 to Dn) are superimposed on each other to thereby produce interference light (L).

  • Publication number: 20050190374
Abstract: To provide an optical image measuring apparatus capable of calculating an intensity of a direct current component composed of background light based on a result obtained by detection of interference light and obtaining a signal intensity of the interference light using the calculated intensity. The apparatus includes: an optical interference system to divide a light beam into signal light and reference light, and the signal light propagating through an object to be measured and the reference light are superimposed to produce interference light; beam splitters for dividing it into three interference light beams; shutters to perform sampling; photo detectors for detecting the sampled interference light beams and converting them into electrical signals; and a signal processing portion for calculating the signal intensity of the interference light and the spatial phase distribution thereof based on the electrical signals.

  • Patent number: 5199193
Abstract: A working machine for use in a working system in which a pair of working machines, which are capable of traveling both on land and on a riverbed or the like, are respectively used for excavating gravel or the like on the bottom of the water and for transporting the same. The working machine is basically constructed such that an upper structure including an operator's cabin is mounted on a lower structure having a self-traveling mechanism, such as endless tracks, in such a manner that the heightwise position of the upper structure can be varied. The working machine is applied to a dredging machine for a shallow water area having an excavating mechanism juxtaposed in the vicinity of its upper structure, and to a transporting machine for a shallow water area having a load-carrying platform juxtaposed in the vicinity of its upper structure.

  • Patent number: 4539813
Abstract: An exhaust system control apparatus for the exhaust of an internal combustion engine which is particularly useful on two-cycle engines. The exhaust system includes a subsidiary chamber connected to the normal engine exhaust passage with a valve for opening and closing communication between the chamber and exhaust passage to change the pressure wave at the engine cylinder exhaust port to provide optimum performance at high and low speeds. The chamber valve is operated rapidly by a pneumatic actuator supplied with compressed air from one or more of the sources disclosed, namely, a belt driven or electric air compressor and piston and cylinder devices extending between or forming the suspension components of a two wheeled vehicle. A pneumatic valve is operated by engine speed sensing means to supply or release the pressurized air to the actuator at a predetermined engine speed.
