Abstract: A jigger dyeing apparatus comprising a liquid-draining device which is arranged in a travel passage of a spread textile fabric to be dyed between winding rolls and dyeing rolls so that a dyeing solution is squeezed out on the entire surface of the fabric uniformly with respect to the weft direction of the fabric, and a dyeing solution circulating system and a dyeing box, which are arranged so that while the fabric is being dipped in the dyeing solution, the dye concentration in the dyeing solution falling in contact with the fabric is always kept uniform in respective portions of the fabric. The problem of listing involved in conventional jigger dyeing apparatus can be completely solved by using the present jigger dyeing apparatus.

Abstract: A jet dyeing apparatus comprises a generally horizontal cylindrical high-pressure dyeing vessel having an outlet for a fabric standing portion at a front portion thereof, wherein the vessel is tilted slightly downward toward the direction of the front outlet, a liquid pan is provided at the lowest portion, a standing portion for the fabric is formed by a perforated pipe in the vessel in parallel therewith or being further tilted slightly downward toward the direction of the outlet so that the fabric and the dye liquor will smoothly flow therethrough while separated from each other. A circulation path for the fabric is formed by a liquor-injection portion and a transfer pipe installed on the upper side, and the dye liquor is circulated from the liquor pan into the liquor-injection portion by a circulation pump through a heat exchanger.

Abstract: A viscous water-in-oil type emulsion comprising a dye or a fluorescent brightening agent which is sparingly soluble in water and liquid hydrocarbons, water, a liquid hydrocarbon and a nonionic or amphoteric surface active agent. The emulsion is suitable for dyeing or brightening hydrophobic fibers.
