    Abstract: There is disclosed a silver halide color photographic material and a method for forming a color image using said color photographic material.     Abstract: Disclosed herein is a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprising at least three silver halide emulsion layers having different color sensitivities and formed on a reflective support. The support comprises a substrate and a composition layer laminated on at least the surface of the substrate on which the emulsion layers are coated, and made of a thermoplastic resin containing polyester as a main component and a white pigment mixed and dispersed in the resin. The polyester is a polyester synthesized by the polycondensation of a dicarboxylic acid and a diol. The silver halide contained in the material is silver chlorobromide having silver chloride content of 95 mol % or more, or silver chloride. The ratio of the coated amount of all hydrophilic colloid used in the material to the coated amount of silver contained in all silver halide used in the material ranges from 5.0 to 30.

    Abstract: An image is formed in a color photosensitive material through scanning exposure by using at least one semiconductor laser excited solid laser including a semiconductor laser, a non-linear optical element and means for controlling the temperature thereof as a light source for producing a laser beam. The laser beam is modulated by an external modulator in accordance with the image to be formed. Among the combinations of photosensitive layers and laser beams, at least two laser beam light sources are such that a laser beam has a wavelength falling within .+-.20 nm from the maximum wavelength in the spectral sensitivity distribution of the corresponding photosensitive layer. Each photosensitive layer has a spectral sensitivity distribution with a peak width of up to 40 nm.

    Abstract: A silver halide photographic material comprising at least one photosensitive emulsion layer contains silver halide grains on a support. In the silver halide photographic material, (1) the silver halide grains are prepared in the presence of iridium compounds, (2) the silver halide grains consist of silver chlorobromide which is essentially free of silver iodide, (3) at least 90 mol% of all silver halide from which the silver halide grains are made is silver chloride, (4) the silver halide grains have localized phase in which the silver bromide content exceeds at least 20 mol%, (5) the localized phase is precipitated together with at least 50% of all the iridium which is added during the preparation of the silver halide grains, and (6) the surface of the silver halide grains is chemically sensitized to the extent that the grains are essentially of the surface latent image type.

    Abstract: A silver halide photographic material having at least one light-sensitive emulsion layer on a support, wherein at least one light-sensitive emulsion layer has an emulsion containing silver halide grains of silver chlorobromide, silver chloroiodide, silver chloroiodobromide or silver chloride having a silver chloride content of 90 mol % or more, and incorporated with the silver halide grains are an iron compound of from 10.sup.-7 to 10.sup.-3 mol per mol of silver halide, and a tellurium compound of from 10.sup.-7 to 10.sup.-4 mol per mol of silver halide, before completion of physical ripening of the grains. The photographic material of the present invention is exposed for a short time period of 10.sup.-3 second or less and then color-developed to form a photographic image. The material has high sensitivity and high contrast and has excellent rapid processability.

    Abstract: There is disclosed a silver halide color photographic material having (A) a red-sensitive, (B) a green-sensitive, and (C) a blue sensitive silver halide emulsion layers, wherein the silver halide emulsion of each layer is a high-silver-chloride emulsion, and the silver halide emulsions of the red-sensitive and blue-sensitive layers is spectrally sensitized in the blue light region within a range satisfying specific relationships. Further two or more silver halide emulsions are mixed so that the gammas of the (A) red-sensitive and the (B) green-sensitive layers in the photosensitive region of the blue-sensitive layer may be in a limited range. The disclosure as described provides a silver halide color photographic material which can form a color image giving a stereoscopic feeling that can reproduce bright primary colors less in turbidity over the range from the low-density part to the high-density part, and which can produce fully the high-density region of primary colors with subtle shades.

    Abstract: A color image-forming process of developing a color photographic paper having on a support silver halide emulsion layer(s) containing a monodispersed silver chlorobromide emulsion having a deviation coefficient of not more than 20% and a color coupler, said emulsion being spectrally sensitized by at least one of the compounds represented by general formulae (I), (II), (III) and (IV) defined in this invention, using a color developer containing substantially no benzyl alcohol for a period of time of not more than 2 minutes and 30 seconds.In processing the aforesaid color photographic paper, even when the color paper is procesed using a color developer containing no benzyl alcohol, which caused pollution problems, in a short processing time of not more than 2 minutes and 30 seconds, stable color images having less formation of fog and high color density are obtained.
