  • Patent number: 6423369
Abstract: A molded product having pores in its surface, an inorganic powder, a fat and oil and media are placed into a treating vessel, and a kinetic energy is supplied to the contents of the treating vessel, thereby forcing the inorganic powder into the pores and hardening it in the pores. In another process, a molded product having pores in its surface and an inorganic powder producing material are placed into a treating vessel, and a kinetic energy is supplied to the contents of the treating vessel, thereby forcing an inorganic powder produced from the inorganic powder producing material into the pores and hardening it in the pores. The inorganic powder producing material performs a role of producing an inorganic powder by the collision of pieces of the inorganic powder producing material against one another, against the molded product and against the inner wall of the vessel, and a role as media for forcing the produced inorganic powder into the pores.

  • Patent number: 6348138
Abstract: The present invention provides an electroplating device including an anode inserted through and disposed in a hole provided in a work and communicating with the outside, and a member for rotating the work about its center axis and supplying a plating electric current to the work. Thus, a uniform plated film can be formed on both of the outer and inner surfaces of the work having the hole communicating with the outside such as a ring-shaped work, of which a ring-shaped bonded magnet is representative, by using the electroplating device.

  • Publication number: 20020019195
Abstract: A gear grinding machine and a gear grinding method, in which a gear-shaped grinding stone is caused to engage a gear-like workpiece and one of the gear-shaped grinding stone and the gear-like workpiece is reciprocated relatively to the other in axial direction thereby to grind the tooth flanks of the workpiece, are disclosed. The rotational resistance is applied by a brake unit to the rotationally driven side. The grinding resistance and the rotational resistance interfering with the relative reciprocal motion are detected by torque sensors and input to a control unit, the average value of each of the signals is compared with a reference value by an arithmetic unit and, in the case where there is a difference between the average value and the reference value, the rotational resistance is changed by activating the brake unit. Thus, a high machining accuracy can be maintained even when the sharpness of the grinding stone is reduced.

  • Patent number: 6308549
Abstract: An apparatus for forming a spirally wound stator core includes a pair of forming rollers having a wedge-shaped gap therebetween, a winding drum, a drum-drive motor, and a roller presser. A strip of magnetic material is inserted into the wedge-shaped gap to be pressed at a controlled pressure so that the strip is bent into a spiral with one side of the strip being radially inside. The controlled pressure is changed automatically according to a memorized relationship between the rotation speeds of the pair of forming rollers and suitable pressures applied to the strip.

  • Patent number: 6290420
Abstract: A connection structure of an electrical component is provided wherein the first connection member consists of liquid crystalline polymer synthetic resin. A weld joint is formed in the sleeve of the first connection member during the molding process. This weld joint permits the second connection member to be press-fitted into the first connection member by permitting the first connection member to fracture along the weld joint, thereby resulting in a tight connection between the first and second connection members.

  • Patent number: 6275140
Abstract: A rotary variable resistor includes a substrate made of synthetic resin; a first terminal made of metal, embedded in the substrate, and leading from a side surface of the substrate; an annular collector formed on the surface of the substrate; a resistor formed on the surface of the substrate; and a sliding element sliding on the resistor and the collector. In the rotary variable resistor, an exposed part exposed at the surface of the substrate is formed on the first terminal within a range of the width of the annular collector. Since the exposed part of the first terminal is connected to the annular collector within the width thereof, a space for forming a leader of a conventional collector and a compact rotary variable resistor can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 6169473
Abstract: An internally threaded carrying member is engaged with a screw thread formed on an operating shaft and is in frictional engagement with a moving member. A first projection is formed at one end part of the operating shaft and a second projection is formed on the internally threaded carrying member so as to correspond to the first projection. Upon the arrival of the internally threaded carrying member at one end of its stroke on the operating shaft together with the moving member as the operating shaft is rotated in one direction, the first projection and the second projection are engaged. Then, the internally threaded carrying member is rotated together with the operating shaft against a frictional resistance exerted thereon by the moving member as the operating shaft is rotated further in the same direction.

  • Patent number: 5936452
Abstract: The oscillation-stop detecting device accurately detects the stopping of a clock signal due to various causes. The voltage detecting circuit detects when a clock signal output from the clock signal oscillator remains at a high, a low or an intermediate level, and outputs a clock voltage detection signal. The oscillation-stop detecting circuit outputs a detection signal in response to the voltage detection signal.

  • Patent number: 5765019
Abstract: Even in the case where a microcomputer according to the present invention is directly connected to a bus in a LAN, it is possible to upgrade the data transfer speed of the LAN. When a built-in exclusive-OR circuit in the SIO of the microcomputer detects the discordance between a signal at an R.times.D terminal and a signal at a T.times.D terminal, a D flip-flop circuit generates and sends out an interrupt signal to the CPU. The CPU is made to recognize the collision of signals by the generation of the interrupt signal.

  • Patent number: 5427734
Abstract: The object of the invention is to provide a manufacturing method of a complex shaped R--Fe--B type sintered anisotropic magnet improved the moldability of injection molding and preventing the reaction between R ingredients and binder and controlled the degradation of magnetic characteristics due to residual carbon and oxygen. Utilizing the R--Fe--B type alloy powder or the resin coated said alloy powder, and methylcellulose and/or agar and water, instead of the usual thermoplastic binder, it is mixed and injection molded. The molded body is dehydrated by the freeze vacuum dry method to control the reaction between R ingredients and of the R--Fe--B alloy powder and water; furthermore, by administering the de-binder treatment in the hydrogen atmosphere, and sintering it after the dehydrogen treatment, residual oxygen and carbon in the R--Fe--B sintered body is drastically reduced, improving the moldability during the injection molding to obtain a three dimensionally complex shape sintered magnet.
